This is a game in dire need of an invincibilty cheat, it's quite difficult, and is also difficult to see the redone stages from the old Ghouls N Ghosts (Genesis, TG-16, arcade, etc.), the NSES one has an invincibilty cheat, and the GBA version has the same invincibilty window, perhaps an invincibilty code is possible?

Well, I am not code hacker, would love to be, but gahhhh I have a fear of numbers and letters and other digits type mess really. But in anycase, I agree with you, an invincible code would be nice for this game.

As this game has came up before by me, Helder did make alot of codes for it, like 'always have you choose armor type' which is and was a basic invicible code, but you'd still get hit and pop back and alot of times, yeah fall into holes and mess. But that code is 'okay' nto as great as an invincible code, but ehh maybe this will cause one? And other made codes for it si great the always have magic mod and such is and was needed and always great.

Also, not really on the code request but being it is about these games series, belongs here pretty much, SNES has/had an invincible cheat? If so please do post that, I thought is was the Genesis who has the invincible cheat. (hard as heck to do, blahhh gosh I do hate all those mashing buttons cheats in order these days.) Not trying to be smart nor rude, just well excited if the SNES does have one, as I know about the Genesis one, but the SNES one if not known would be a great welcome (though ehh hehe 'really' if anyone of us has all these games of the series as I do, all Ghost N'Goblin type games for all systems ever had them, even to Demon's Creast also of 'that series', anyway with the GBA Ghouls N' Ghosts at our side and heh if we have it as we do, then you really need no other of the game form, as is pretty much, it is all the same (more or less, great game but still, :P all levels and basic game play fun yet not changed none really from the first game til this latest one. :P

Otherwise, sorry not really 'bragging' err well, somewhat I am heh sorry, we have to when we can at times we know, and I admit, gahhh took two months each, but I beat the whole series of Ghosts N' Goblins no codes no cheats and fair and square, errr heh again as I said took two months each. That is well, I had the games paused for two months, and changed channels to watch TV. (yes all systems were pretty 'hot' after those two months but eh.) I remember in Christmas of 1991, I got the SNES and Super Ghouls N' Ghosts got to the end and had to redo the whole game and look for the 'Goddess Bracelet' as you do with all these games heh, and would leave the game on pause and try each day to get farther and farther til I finally did it all.

The strage and scary part about all this, the fact that this GBA Ghouls N'Ghosts is the hardest game ever in the series. :shock: (Even harder then the original NES one, which was the hardest til this one gahhhh....)

Those classic stages are great somewhat 'remade' but still great, but gosh getting to some of them is hard as a brick at times, the 'first' stage from the classic NES Ghosts N' Goblins which is like stage seven is gosh so hard, the stones you jump on become forest ghosts (as they are stone forests ghosts heh sorry I know alot about GNG games as it was my favorite NES game for a long time back when NES was the 'thing') the first stage from the NES is so hard it is stage 7 or so, so yep is HARD...and that stage where you have to jump across those floating and moving platforms...I hate those stages to, (classic NES GNG's 3rd stage. that is, being the 'dragon' is at the end.)

eh well, the invincible code would be great and well wished for this game alot.

That's the SNES SGnG code (straight from this site, hacked by Ace), I've tested it and it works quite well, nothing can hit you or kill you except gaps in the ground. Couple that with infinite lives, and the game is as easy as child's play.

Amazingly I've owned the NES version of Ghosts N Goblins and Super Ghouls N Ghosts SNES for years, never beat them (and yet I beat Gradius 3 PS2) but I passed on SGnG GBA for R-Type Final PS 2, both are rarer now.

I'd mainly like an invincibilty cheat to see the extra SGnG GBA stages, it's almost impossible to see the extra stages because you have to keep the green or gold armor to the end of the level and beat the boss, and still wear it.

Oh, maybe the codes are buried in the forum somewhere. I know they weren't on the site. Yeah, it was a good practice for me and it gave me a chance to try this game for the first time. I love the new additions it has.

Gosh I never even noticed that code made by Ace, though I do admit, not been to the SNES section of this very site for a good while (still putting in and naming and all else codes and such on PSX all the way to PS2 and GameCube still....

However a few issues here, YES an invincible code would be great, err could someone please convert that please to AR?

Also note, I sorta messed up when I was talking about these codes before, heh I never asked if Bloodreigh has CB or AR for GBA.

Also otherwis,e yes Helder did make alot of these codes for the AR (converted) already, as is, I would also say they are buried in the forums, should be under my Ghouls N' Ghosts topic somewhere around this forum.

As is, codes for both devices are nice, yes they are, hehe forgive me but I do and must say, well we all wish and like 'most' what works for us, and I wish and need them in AR format please. :wink:

As again and again I said many times, I would LOVE to own a CB for GBA, yet those things are 'rare' (Even AR's are getting rare these days....) And yeah some of you may say 'buy from GSCCC.com' if even they have that store anymore, but one thing, as we all know by now anything, ANYTHING you put online about your personal life goes out there and is seen by alot, which hell does not bother me, but as far as credit card numbers and such, I have a saying NEVER online.

No CB or AR, just emulator.

I found with invincibilty if you have gold armor and get hit, you revert back to normal armor. So the invincibilty code does indeed work, but you can't keep the good armor, plus the armor mod code didn't seem to work on VBA.

And as for buying online, Ebay and money orders work just fine for me, it's how I got 3 Gradius titles added to my collection.

of course the codes work on VBA thats where i made em unless you are refering to Hiro's codes,and als get a newer version VBA like 1.7.2 and up if you have an older version.

Yes, try using the latest version of VBA and let me know if there is any problems with the codes still. These codes were in codebreaker format. And from my testing they worked fine.
