On all SNES Konami titles, Super Castlevania, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Biker Mice From Mars, ect ect, if you have codes turned on when the game boots it will not load. You have to turn the codes on after the game starts. Is there a code that will bypass this? That would be great!

Yep, you're right, just tested with SNES9X. I only use BSNES, so that is what I test the codes with.Last edited by mightymo77; 02-18-2010, 07:00:53 PM.

I think I get what happened, in it's essence. I think that BSNES uses a more constant PAR code update rate than the other 2 emulators. It's the per-interrupt nature of the Game Genie and PAR that allow the codes to work right on hardware(meaning that you wait until NMI starts to apply the 7E0000-7FFFFF codes). If the updates are too constant, than the RAM nullifier coding will pick up a non-zero value, and then replicate it across the whole remaining range of RAM to do. This is not good for a program that expects everything to start off at a value of 00.This reality is mine. Go hallucinate your own.
