Wait, can't you save to the "battery"? Usually codes "wear off" if you save to the battery and then restart the save file again.

If you know what code might have caused the glitch, you can try using the code again, but this time setting it to a lower and more normal value, then saving and restarting the file. It might just work.

Or try killing youself. Sometimes codes "wear off" that way too.

I'm gonna try killing my character with the codes off then try the magic carpet again. I haven't heard from Andrew in awhile, so if that doesn't work I will restart without codes.

Btw, I tried Nobunaga's Ambition II today...same fu**ing thing happened. I actually found codes for my hero and got on a role setting them up. After about the 12th address I found FCEUX gave me the ol' error window and closed down. At least I wrote the codes down on paper as I was making them, but I was too pissed to go back and enter them all in. I think I will enter 5 at a time, close down FCEUX so it saves them, enter 5 more, save, etc.

Is there a way to save your codes in FCEUX while you are making them, so you don't have to keep closing the program and restarting it? These Koei games are gonna go down sooner or later, but man are they putting up a stinkin' fight.

I can't believe it. I thought for sure it didn't work, but it did. I went back to my save state in Ultima Warriors of Destiny, turned off all the codes, then had my character die. When I reappeared in front of Lord British's throne again I went outside and activated the carpet and the damn thing worked!! Rey, you're a genius.

For those that ever have a problem thinking a game might be adversely affected by one of the codes you created (or a code you are just using for a game), turn them off and kill off your character. Good stuff!

It's not about being a genius. It's about being lazy :P

Many times a game has bugged out on me due to the cheats and I've been so lazy to restart the game over that I just try anything I can come up with to fix the bug issue.

That's how I've found out stuff like that.

I've also tried so many different emulators for so many different consoles that you're bound to come across shit like that :P
