Anyone played Spelunker II?

I just learned there was a Spelunker II. I downloaded the ROM, and I was wondering, is there an English version? I guess the game was only available in Japan. Most of the text is Japanese.

Also, and I know this is a naive question, but I use JNES (and its been a couple years since I've used an emulator of any kind). For Pro-action replay cheat codes, there are two windows, and the description window above them. How would I enter the code 0000E5 09? I thought the 09 went in the right-hand window and the 0000E5 went in the left-hand window. That's not working, though. How's that work, again? Sorry

Yes, there is a translation.

Instead of putting 0000E5, try putting 00E5 and see if that works.
