  • Brain Lord Debug Menu Found SNES PAR Code

I looked online and even on here, and well unless I'm wrong, but either way I did try before posting this.

It's been awhile but normally only post only when I have the free time, and only when I feel I've brought something to the table thats worth bringing.

Being A Debug Menu For Brain Lord For The Super Nintendo

    Debug Menu
    7E04B605

Note For Code Above: Go To Menu As Normal & Press The Button You Normally Do When Selecting Something & You'll Get A List Of Stuff Like Changing The Music, Warp, Etc.

I be happy to provide a code picture or video to confirm it works.

Anyways I like to also submit this if possible, thanks.

This code locked the game up after the title screen, at the "beginning / Free" screen. The game did not lock up when I tried again with the code off.

Awesome. Once we can isolate why it crashed mightymo77's emu, and how not to do that, we'll add it. Maybe I'll test it out tonight.

I took a few minutes and whipped up a set of Game Genie codes to be able to use the debug menu anywhere, and without lasting errors in the game.

Debug Option (Open the main menu, and pick the last option. It may be invisible. If you have any problems with the Item menu, turn these off temporarily, and it should be fixed)
        D9FB-570F
        DDFC-5F6F
        E54D-57AF

To use a PAR code only, use 7E04B506, which will let you manually select the debug option. I'd suggest only using it for testing, or only using it long enough to use the specific options one wants, then saving the effects. There's a slight possibility of graphical glitches when the menu is closed with this code, but not much of a chance from the testing I did.

I used my emulator snes9x-1.51-win32 and I didnt have any troubles with it, the code itself does in fact work, might have to turn it off when you dont need it, but unlike newer games not like theres a joker command to work with on old games like this and all that.

If you are having troubles with it could be the rom or the version of the emulator your using, or some other thing.

The code I made works fine for me, I mean all requires is turning the code on when you need it and off when you dont.

Anyways I hope I'm still getting credit for this code, I mean I didnt have time to make something better then this, it didnt really take me that long to make this code, just wanted to show that debug existed in this game, and make a better code when I was able to, even though ugetab beat me to posting a newer version of this code up, least its fully working now for everyone.

I use BSNES, Ugetab's code didn't seem to work either. So it has to be the emulator. Which brings up a question. Why do some codes only work with certain emulators? Like there's an invincibility code for Section-Z and a zero health for enemies code for Renegade, both NES. Those codes do not work in Nestopia. I do a lot of testing of codes on this site with those two emulators, because I make the NES / BSNES Cheat Code Packs available here: http://www.mightymo.net/downloads.html

Zane: Yes, of course you'll still get credit for the original code.

I got the PAR code to eventually work in Bsnes(by opening/closing the menu), but it had the known graphical glitches when it worked. The GG codes worked without a hitch for me.
