I had an issue with a code in the gshi:

The quick level up code raises the experience (it increases the byte value where exp is added to), but the hero never levels up, so no stat boosts.

Side note: The infinite HP and MP codes are limited to what the hero starts with since he never levels up with that code. The game's actual max values for HP and MP are 99 (63 hex).

My alternative quick level up codes raise the points of EXP you get from enemies, just enough to level up very quickly (stat boosts etc. work with these values...)
