Sorry about the DP .. but i did hit edit dont know why it made a new Thread . Crazy ..
Hi @Skiller ! Are you still here? Sorry about resurrecting this old - but relevant at least for me - thread.
Is there a turnaround for this Joker Command work with PS2RD?
If not, since there isn't "Joker Command"* Code Type on PS2RD**, much less in OPL (with has PS2RD on it)***... Should I write such feature? In this case could you give some input ideas for make it simple and in the right way?
          Thanks in advance!

              @lee4 thank you very much

              Good news:
              - After some testing I was able to make the codes works on Namco Museum SLUS-20273 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/546321-namco-museum/data). This one is a port from Ms. Pac-Man Arcade Machine made for DreamCast and reused on PS2 (I think, given the screenshots from Internet).

              Bad news:
              - Codes don't work on Namco Museum 50th Anniversary (Greatest Hits) SLUS-20273GH release date 2006 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/927817-n...niversary/data). This one gives a perfect emulation of Ms. Pac-Man Arcade Machine. And this is the want I really want to make work. Now it's time for looking for a hiding codes on Web or do it myself :-(...

              *Greatest Hits

PS: I've never noticed that two similar games could use same id, but one of them could use an suffix for difference the newer (Greatest Hits - 2006) from the older one (2001). So I think it's time to adjust OPL for such scenario too. OMG! But I dunno when I have time for doing this...

Namco Museum and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary are actually 2 different games

there are codes for Namco Museum 50th Anniversary already
                http://gamehacking.org/game/104358/?name=&format=cb7
                (some codes may display incorrect)

Please check if Namco Museum and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary main elf serial are same?

                  For sure... Checked... Done!
Namco Museum NTSC U|C and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary NTSC U|C have the same serial: SLUS_202.73.
So there is no serial SLUS_211.64 on my Namco Museum 50th Anniversary NTSC U|C.
But after googling a little I found Namco Museum 50th Anniversary, which has serial SLES_539.57 (NB: I don't own this later one)...

There is no need to change the ps2rd as master code (codetype 9) acts like sumcheck for elf already.

As codetype 9 always check for correct value in elf being loaded

If different elf is loaded, codes will be disable until correct elf is loaded and vice versa

SLES_539.57 is PAL (European) version of the game

Look like Namco forget to change the elf serial to SLUS_211.64 when recomplied the game with more games
(I have seen this in PS3 games too)

I see your point but I have no success on that.
I intend to find Namco Museum 50th Anniversary NTSC U|C SLUS_202.73 i.e. "SLUS_202.73GH (GH=Greatest Hits) - or ask for someone help me on this (if possible of course).

Is there a "Joker Finder" tool?
If so, I could use it as long as with that PS2RD code you have explained posts ago, then I could change in-game background color to blue for instance, just for checking if PS2RD is detecting Joker, then I would disasm game and its labels until find how to hack Ms. Pac-Man in order to put Infinite Lives on it...

[EDIT] Hi, since we are almost in 2016, do you know any hacker still active that could help me on find these codes? I have been trying do it myself but since I ain't an specialist on finding PS2 codes I am afraid I will hit my head against the wall several times and weeks until solve this puzzle... So if there is someone that can do this in a simple, easier way - and mainly, just for fun... Please let me know who is, and also how contact him/her. Any kind of help would be appreciated, as usual ;-) Take care,

                      [EDIT 3 - SOLVED!!!

Don't worry. Nevermind. Problem solved. I've had an insight. Now it's working on OPL + PS2RD ;-)
