Amazing, a few years ago I didn't even know how to hack codes.
Then I was able to make simple codes such as infinite lives or energy (as long as there were numbers or a bar on the screen).

And now I'm making all sort of codes, such as invincibility. I don't even have to narrow a search down to a couple of possibilities anymore. Even if the search produced over 15 possibilities, I still am able to identify what I'm looking for :P

I mean, at least on FCEUltra, which has one of the best cheat searches interface I've ever used. At least in what my limited experience tells me.

Cool; glad to hear it. That's one of the primary goals of GSHI: to help anyone who wants to learn to hack.

Let us know if there's anything we can document more precisely, that might provide even more insight.
    I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

      Will do

I didn't even set out to learn though. I started out because I was tired of requesting all the time and figured I might as well learn how to do infinite energy at least. But after you understand the basics, the other stuff just comes easier. Before you know it, you're doing stuff you never though you would do.

        Congratulations

I know how you feel. Its a beautifull experience. When the great guys here taught me, a few years ago, and I managed to create my own codes, it felt amazing as well.
Keep on going with the good work .

I wish I knew what creating an buffer overflow meant though apparently if you create one it allows you to execute your own homebrew code on any given console with a simple hello world program to show basic output as a starting point.
I think I created one on svr2009 with my wormhole effect code but I can't be sure.
