Use any emulator like ePSXe or PSXeven with the plugin "Playstation Emulator Cheater [PEC]" and you can easily find the codes on your own. You might need a program like UltraISO to make an ISO image of your game disk for the emulator. I use UltraISO, works perfect.

I don't see how PEC is going to help me find that code since PEC's database lacks about 50% of all games/codes. I have gone through it a few times looking for specific codes.
      Unless I'm missing something?

I believe newer versions of PEC also include a game trainer system (hacking tool). If not, you can grab CEP, which does.

I grabbed CEP and it did indeed include a hacking tool, but it seems a bit complicated. It seems easier with the gameshark code search engine. Hacking the clear time would mean I'd basically have to beat the game once or more to do the search on the times I get to pinpoint the right address?

well you could just save every minute and do a greater then search, then you will eventually find a time code, which the final time is based off your save timer.

Exactly. Moreover, you could decide which bonuses you're intent on getting by minimizing your clear time, and either hack those directly, or see if they're already been hacked.

Incidentally, I've updated the offset list. As for Resident Evil, it now consists of:

(NTSC) Leon to (NTSC) Claire: subtract 00000238 0000
(NTSC) Leon to (NTSC) Dual Shock Leon: add 00007ED4 0000
(NTSC) Leon to (NTSC) Dual Shock Claire: add 00007E48 0000
(NTSC) Leon to (PAL) Leon: subtract 00000530 0000
(NTSC) Leon to (PAL) Claire: subtract 00000598 0000
(NTSC) Claire to (NTSC) Leon: add 00000238 0000
(NTSC) Claire to (NTSC) Dual Shock Claire: add 00008080 0000
(NTSC) Claire to (NTSC) Dual Shock Leon: add 0000801C 0000
(NTSC) Claire to (PAL) Leon: subtract 000002F8 0000
(NTSC) Claire to (PAL) Claire: subtract 00000360 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Leon to (NTSC) Dual Shock Claire: subtract 0000008C 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Leon to (NTSC) Leon: subtract 00007ED4 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Leon to (NTSC) Claire: subtract 0000801C 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Leon to (PAL) Leon: subtract 00008314 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Leon to (PAL) Claire: subtract 0000837C 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Claire to (NTSC) Dual Shock Leon: add 0000008C 0000
(NTSC) Dual Shock Claire to (NTSC) Claire: subtract 00008080 0000

(NTSC) Dual Shock Claire to (PAL) Claire: subtract 000082F0 0000
(PAL) Leon to (NTSC) Claire: add 000002F8 0000
(PAL) Leon to (NTSC) Leon: add 00000530 0000

(PAL) Claire to (NTSC) Claire: add 00000360 0000
(PAL) Claire to (NTSC) Dual Shock Leon: add 0000846C 0000
(PAL) Claire to (NTSC) Dual Shock Claire: add 000083E0 0000
(PAL) Claire to (PAL) Leon: add 00000068 0000

Heh. If someone could solve for the PAL Dual Shock offsets, we could finish the RE2 list off...

I didn't think of it like that, thanks.

My intention is to achieve the S rank without having to rush through the game, no particular reason other than that I wanna see the S rank screen, basically.
I didn't know there was a PAL Dual Shock version? :O I am almost certain the Dual Shock edition was only for Japan and USA.

Hm, I've encountered a weird glitch. Not sure if it's code related or due to the disc being scratchy or something (EDIT: It's not the disc, I tried with another one that I borrowed from a friend and it did not work either so it must be code related). All my allies appear to be invisible (Playing as Claire; Leon and Sherry are invisible but only in the second half of the Scenario B) and at a certain point in the game when I get out of an elevator the game somehow freezes, it's as if a video is about to start (game rendered, not cinematic) and the game just stops there with Claire basically doing what she does while idling.

Edit2: Uh, I just checked a video walkthrough and as soon as you enter this one room Sherry is supposed to be there, but on my playthrough that scene never happens, only the second half of it, and she's invisible. In the beginning of this video is the part that is completely messed up. At exactly 6:45 in the video when Sherry starts running towards Claire is where it hangs up.

Just download UltraISO and make an ISO image of the game disk, it is incredibly easy. For all I know, the game might actually run better than it would on an actual Playstation. With an emulator, you can use save states. Save states are far better than any memory card because you can save anywhere instantly and then reload it instantly, and do multiple saves. If you want to change what the current time is so it's low enough for an S Rank, just start and save. Do a scan for anything that isn't 0. Play the game and wait a few seconds, and then scan for any value that increased because your time was increasing. You can probably figure out what to do very fast from there.

Sure, I'll go for the emu option and see how that works out. Thanks for the info, bungholio.

The thing is, I didn't use any codes for any items except weapons, and did not skip any sort of event that I'm aware of. That's however the first thing that came to my mind; I skipped something that you usually do that would trigger the event of Sherry being there when I enter the room. It was 7 years ago since I played any of Claire's scenarios so I don't really remember if I did everything correctly now. I'm either going to have to run all over the place looking for something that I might have missed or just start from the beginning. I always have a "backup" save after every Cleared Game so if something would go wrong I don't have to do everything all over, just the latest scenario I was playing.
