  • Fatal Frame 3 - The Tormented

I ported these from the Japan version, so mostly credits to whomever the hacker was. They've been verified to work.
    I ported them from here:
    http://translate.google.com/translat...3DrNR%26sa%3DG

They're in a post by "theount."

    Infinite HP (All)
    202325A0 24100000
It works for all 3 characters.

    High Power Camera
    2036F2B4 447A0000
Anything you take a picture of should die in one hit, and you'll get a lot more points for taking pictures.

The max item codes on any other official cheat device website only have the items for Rei. That's why I didn't list those.

What is the enable code to use with these?

Depends on the cheat device you are using. These below ones aren't mine, just unencrypted official codes.

Codebreaker 7 or higher, or Gameshark
      902826F8 00832021
      or
      901EF238 0C0A09D2

      Action Replay
      F0282574 00282577

The action replay one should work perfect on any cheat device.

        Joker
        D0327082

        Rei - Max Flash Level

        Miku - Max Double Level

        Rei - Always 255 Flashes
        0032d188 000000ff
Better than using the code for having it at max level. With this, who cares about the level?

        255 Combo
        003e5233 000000ff
I don't know how useful this is, I haven't checked it much yet.

        Ruri Costume Modifier?
        003e4d2c 000000??
I never tried it, I don't even know who Ruri is yet. Where do you get to use her?

        Rei Accessory Modifier
        003e4d30 000000??

        Miku Accessory Modifier
        003e4d34 000000??

        Costume/Accessory Modifier Digits:
I think they work the simple way. I used "00" for all of them, and all of them were forced to the first choice. I used "01" for all of them, and all of them had their 2nd costumes and accessories.

I think I'm very done with this game. I've been using Artemis with it to find some things that were a problem to find before.

          Character Modifier
          00325270 000000??
          00 = Rei
          01 = Miku
          02 = Kei
Found with Artemis. It was a little problematic when I tried using it. Whenever I loaded a game as Kei in Rei's room, I always started very far away from the room. I didn't have my no clipping code to walk through things or the position modifiers at the time to really see if it worked correctly.

          Difficulty Modifier
          00325290 000000??
          00 = Easy
          01 = Normal
          02 = Hard
          03 = Nightmare
Found with Artemis. It's just here if you ever wanted to change the difficulty setting of a game so you can load and save it as another difficulty.

          Unlock All Endings
          0041aa14 00000001 (Ending 1)
          0041aa18 00000001 (Ending 2)
Found with Artemis. You normally need to complete the game once and save it to get the menu that lets you into the gallery to view the endings, but I found the code to skip that process.

          Unlock Completed Game Menu
          0041aa11 00000001
Found with Artemis. When you complete the game, save it, and then load that save, you get that special menu where you can buy things, set things, do missions, and view gallery stuff. This unlocks that menu, and it works by just starting a new game, or loading a game.

          Chapter Select
          00325271 0000000?
Found with PS2rd. Use this with the joker command. Some chapters end up a little buggy when they start, so make sure you at least have the no clipping and height modifier codes on to get places. I can't remember how many chapters there are in this game, but I remember there was at least 12 including that black and white intro.

          Infinite Stone (Miku)
          203e523c 447a0000
Found with Artemis. It's redundant, just turn on the camera equipment for this.

          Infinite Stored Spirit Power
          103e528c 000001F4
Found with Artemis. Also redundant, that one camera function gives you this along with making every shot a fatal frame shot.

          Have All Undeveloped Films
          40322F70 00140001
          00010102 00000000
Found with Artemis. You don't really need this for anything, it's just so you can see all 20 of them. You can view these in Rei's house in the room you go to to develop old film.

          Ghosts Don't Chase Kei
          2036e164 7FFFFFFF
          2036e168 7FFFFFFF
I'm not completely sure of what I found with this. The ghosts seem to ignore Kei most of the time unless you try to walk through them. It had another side effect with Rei where one of the ghosts kept trying to grab her, and it went through her every time.

          Blue Candle Is Off/On
          0041AAD0 0000000?
          0 = Off
          1 = On
Found with Artemis. During the last few hours of the game, you get the blue candle. Once it burns out, everything turns to that black and white coloring, and the ghost priestess chases you everywhere. You can just turn it off completely if you don't like it.

          Blue Candle Is Completely Lit
          2041AAD8 42C80000
Found with Artemis. This controls how much of the blue candle has burned.

          Black and White Mode
          0036E1AC 00000001
Found with Artemis. You can toggle this easily with a joker. If you turn it off, you have the normal coloring. It doesn't look completely correct unless you go to another room. You can turn the blue candle on, and mostly deplete the candle by with 2041AAD8 3F800000 by toggling it with the joker command to get that special type of black and white at the end of the game where the priestess is always chasing you around.

          Rei Codes

Rei Position Modifiers (All found with Artemis)

It's best to look at the map while using these. I usually just paused the game while changing my current height position.

          X-Axis Position Modifier
          D0327082 0000FE7F (L2 + Left)
          30300001 0032Cf32 (Move Left)
          D0327082 0000FEDF (L2 + Right)
          30200001 0032Cf32 (Move Right)

          Y-Axis Position Modifier
          D0327082 0000FEEF (L2 + Up)
          30200001 0032Cf3A (Move Up)
          D0327082 0000FEBF (L2 + Down)
          30300001 0032Cf3A (Move Down)

          Height Position Modifier
          D0327082 0000FDEF (L2 + Up)
          30200060 0032Cf36 (Move Up)
          D0327082 0000FDBF (L2 + Down)
          30300060 0032Cf36 (Move Down)

          Miscellaneous Rei Codes

          No Clipping

          D0327082 0000FD7F (R2 + Left)
          1032D060 0000FFFF (On)
          D0327082 0000FDDF (R2 + Right)
          1032D060 00000000 (Off)
You can go through almost everything. I make it something you can toggle because it can cause some problems if you can't turn it off.

          First Person View
          D0327082 0000F77F (R1 + Left)
          0032CFF3 00000004 (On)
          D0327082 0000F7DF (R1 + Right)
          0032CFF3 00000010 (Off)
It is made as a code you can toggle on and off because it can cause a few problems. For example, if you go through a door with it on, you won't be able to turn until you turn the code off and then back on.

          Worthless Rei Codes

          Slow Motion Rei

          0032CFF0 00000002
It's like turning on Stone with Rei, except she is the only thing that is slowed down and it doesn't have the blur.

          Slow Motion Blur
          0032CFF3 00000001
It's the blur from using Stone, except without the slow motion.

          Invisible Flashlight
          0032CFF3 00000002
Not useful, it just disappears from her hand.

          Flashlight Off
          0032CFF1 00000080
If you like not seeing in the darker places, this is for you.

          Cam?
          0032CFF3 00000008
I don't remember exactly, I wrote it down without a description. I think this was the one that caused the camera angles not to change as I moved through rooms.

          Inverted Colors
          0032D064 00000001
When you take damage, it inverts the colors of the game for a few seconds. This would be great if I could figure out how to disable her from making that pain sound nonstop with it. I don't like playing with mute on.

Miku Codes (All found with Artemis)

          Miku Position Modifiers

It's best to look at the map while using these. I usually just paused the game while changing my current height position.

          D0327082 0000FEBF (L2 + Down)
          30300001 0032D28A (Move Down)

          Height Position Modifier

          30300060 0032D286 (Move Down)

          Miscellaneous Miku Codes

          1032D3B0 0000FFFF (On)
          D0327082 0000FDDF (R2 + Right)
          1032D3B0 00000000 (Off)
You can go through almost everything. I make it something you can toggle because it can cause some problems if you can't turn it off.

          00010001 00000000
          10326DC4 00000001
The same as Rei's, the items are "8A" apart from one character's inventory to the next.

          Worthless Miku Codes

          Invert Colors

          0032D3B4 00000001

I finally found something to do with that flickering screen noise effect thing for this game. I don't really know how to control it correctly, and I can't seem to find a duration with ps2rd 0.5.

Type 1 (What the values were when I first encountered an attacking ghost)
            203705f8 00003044

            2039381c 42a00000
            20393864 00000032
            2039386c 00000050
            4041ac40 01b00001
            7f7f7f7f 00000000

Type 2 (What the values were with random ghost appearances with the long vertical flickering lines)
            203705f8 00005844
            20393810 44010402
            20393814 00000058
            20393818 425c0000
            2039381c 41f80000
            20393864 00000032
            2039386c 00000050
            4041ac40 01b00001
            7f7f7f7f 00000000

Off? (What the values were when nothing special was happening)
            203705f8 00001236
            40393810 00040001
            00000000 00000000
            20393864 00000000
            2039386c 00000000
            4041ac40 01b00001
            7f7f7f7f 00000000

The dark green lines are the way they are because almost every address in that range was used and had a completely different value compared to any other line. I just set them all to one value. Those many lines somehow control the flickering lines in some way. The setting I have seems to make many horizontal flickering lines. This isn't like the second game where you just set 1 byte to a certain value to make a certain visual effect occur. I tried many times searching that way and none of the results ever worked that way.

Thank you for the codes. I got stuck with Miku at her first puzzle, because with the Rei codes on, Miku's key items mysteriously disappeared. I didn't realize it was going to change characters on me. I'm still trying to make the Miku key item code work so I can continue without having to restart and lose all of my work. I'm on codebreaker 10.

Has anyone been able to make this particular code work? Does it have to be paired with a specific enable code?

                Thanks.

I don't think it has to do with the codes, I think it's me. I can't make any of them work, haha.

                    Still, thanks for posting!

you cant use these codes with official codes.

Thanks. I was trying the codes on their own, one code at a time, with an enable code. I tried each separate code I wanted with each enable code, and I can't make any of them work. The game simply goes to a blank screen and won't load.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but whatever it is, my system does not like it, haha.

You mean none of the codes work? By "they don't work", do you mean:
                          A. Other codes work fine while these are on, but these don't work.
                          B. The game stays at a black screen and doesn't start.

                          If A:
Your enable code isn't correct, or you are using a different version of the game.

                          If B:
I'm assuming you are using codebreaker and are mixing these codes with it's preloaded and encrypted codes. Doing that will cause the game not to start. If you want to fix that, either:
                          A. Encrypt them with omniconvert at www.codemasters-project.net/vb or wherever you can find it on the net.
                          B. Erase all current Fatal Frame 3 codes, decrypt them, and retype them.
                          C. Make a code called "RAW" at the bottom of your code list for the game, and put 0CF49BDF A4E29C32 in it. Retype any of these codes after that code, and turn them on with this code, and they will work.

You need to buy a cheat device in a game store or online. There's codebreaker, gameshark, and action replay to choose from. If you have a computer that can handle it, you can also run the games on an emulator and then cheat with built in tools or separate tools like Cheat Engine or whatever software people use.
