  • requesting a GameBoyAdvance code

game - Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest
    system - GameBoyAdvance
request code - invincibility( just like the one on the first DKC on GBA )
format - any( mainly for codebreaker )

I want to ask a request, for anyone who wants to do this for free, to make an invincibility code of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest, in any format?
I've been looking everywhere on the internet, it seems that no one had made that code for the game as of yet.
so, whoever has the time, and can do it for free, please make the code.. I really want to use it!

Well unfortunately I didnt find a code because the jumps for every level, it's DMA, and I'm not to good with the ASM hacking for GBA so unless someone else with better experience with the ASM hacking cares to hack the code I suggest using the following codes as Its a crappy alternative to what you want.

      Always Have Partner

This code should work for all levels. Is for Action Replay V3. I dont think Codebreaker supports pointers. I could be wrong, though.

        Invincibility

Note: You can't see them flashing but both Kongs are invincible.

*has tested that code* it seems that code doesn't work. I tried.. x-x well, keep trying. I know that there's got to be an invincibility code made for this game, since the other two GBA games of Donkey Kong Country had been made, which is the first and third.

Are you using an emulator or gameboy advance? I checked the code again and it works with Visual Boy Advance 1.8.0 beta3.

I'm actually using the 1.7.2 Collector's Edition. o.o; didn't know that the newer version supports that code. maybe I'll try the latest versoin of VBA.

*tests the code out on a newer version of VBA* well what do you know.. it does work.. stupid me.. XP thank you!
but still, why wouldn't the code work on older version of VBA? very strange..

The addresses bananas (exact value search) and invincibility change separately, that is in this case it is impossible to execute command "auto apply the offset" in ArtMoney.

PS. Sorry for my very bad English

You should not be using Artmoney to use cheat codes in games that are run on an emulator. Most emulators have tools built in them that allow you to cheat, and they allow you to find cheats on your own. Did you check for anything like that in your emulator?

I don't use Artmoney. I use Cheat Engine.

Your emulator has the tools to cheat already, you don't need Artmoney to cheat. You're making things harder than they need to be. Just use your emulator's cheating tools.

artmoney is good to find codes on say the snes and genesis but everyother emulator has good built in cheats searcher, if anyone wants that vba hacker edition I can post it here, just be warned any new save state from 1.80+ will not load up on the 1.72H version.
