I'll be polishing up the Game Boy ending's guide soon. I wouldn't have gotten to the end of quite a few of those games if it wasn't for nolberto's codes. After that I will get back to the NES one, I promise
Good to see vgmuseum.com updated...except for the NES section

Well, I'm still waiting for that GB faq.
This page has lots of japanese GB endings, in case you need to compare them.

Hey Rey, Bubble Bobble Part 2 is one of the last of about 5 or 6 GB games I want to finish before putting the first version of the GB guide on gamefaqs. I see you made a code for having all the keys. How the hell do you get the keys?? When I played through and beat the Stage 20 boss I did not get the key like the guy in the youtube playthrough got. Does it have something to do with getting diamonds also?? There is a code for having all the diamonds but I have yet to find one. If you have any info it will save me a few hours of slogging through that hour + long video and looking for clues, otherwise I will just end up doing that.US NES games left to beat: 3

I don't remember very well, but on the NES version there is a door to a bonus game that opens after defeating a boss. Maybe that happens on the GB version too. Just wait after the boss dies for the door to appear or something like that.

Thanks Rey. I'm gonna blow through the game collecting absolutely nothing and see if I get an ending worse than the bad ending. After that I will try to determine how to get the keys and so forth. This game is truly worthy of being on an endings guide, assuming I can figure out how to get them all.US NES games left to beat: 3

I should move this to my GB codes thread but yeah, I played through BB Part 2 and if you get a big diamond before Stage 20 and beat the boss you get the Key there. I got another big diamond in one of the stages between 21 and 40 and got the key after beating the Stage 40 boss. However, I got no big diamond in the next 20 stages and when I beat the Stage 60 boss I did not get the key.
So apparently you need to find the big diamonds to get the keys but I have absolutely no idea of what to do to make these appear, I just lucked into it 2 out of 3 times. It's too bad Keyblade's FAQs for this game and Bubble Bobble tell you absolutely nothing about how to get the good endings. That's where these FAQ Completion projects hurt

That's why I don't bother explaining how to get an ending when making endings. I really don't remember how to get the diamonds.
Anyway, I checked a Japanese page and it said something like NOT entering the bonus doors. Did you by any chance enter a bonus door after stage 40?

I remember enterering one bonus door in the entire game so there's a chance it was after stage 40 but I just don't remember. When I write up my endings guide for GB I will put a note on that game requesting details from anyone who knows for sure. That is one of the reasons I make these guides, not just to describe the endings but to help the gamer know what to do to get them. I know you like clean concise descriptions but I like throwing in some color as well
Also, I was thinking about what you said about making the GB guide an HTML guide. Is there a limit to how many pics you can have in one of those? I have taken ending pics from most of the games I beat so I would like to put at least one pic per game but since I have about 120-130 endings written up that might go over the limit, if there is one.US NES games left to beat: 3

I don't know if there's a limit. Check the help section on the site.
As for the bonus door, how about you get the password for level 40 and reach level 60 without entering the bonus door. If you get the diamond, then that's the solution. Use the code I made, that way you'll be certain to miss the bonus door and you'll through the levels quickly too.

Yeah, I play video games to escape from reality. Hate seeing idiots on here with no bigger problems than harassing people after being told repeatedly to stop. These are good forums where we all help one another when we can so guys like him can just bring their drama somewhere else. I got games to beat
