  • GBA Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Name change

    Hi,

I was trying to hack the name for link in GBA Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Four swords), from San to LINK using hex editor. However, it does not seem to be working.

Can anyone help create me a code for this?

    Thanks

try this code, this is for the usa version and make sure you have both codes in,and then save the game with the results.

    Link Name Mod Slot 1
    8200B258 494C
    8200B25A 4B4E

    Link Name Mod Slot 2
    8200B298 494C
    8200B29A 4B4E

    Link Name Mod Slot 3
    8200B2D8 494C
    8200B2DA 4B4E

        Try this:
Update Saved Game 1 Data on Load(You need at least the Master Sword in Link to the Past)
        8200B250 02CD

It'll likely only work on Slot 1 though, so, with some simple math...

Update Saved Game 2 Data on Load(You need at least the Master Sword in Link to the Past)
        8200B290 02CD

Update Saved Game 3 Data on Load(You need at least the Master Sword in Link to the Past)
        8200B2D0 02CD
This reality is mine. Go hallucinate your own.

Or the good old fashion way do a save state with the code on then shut it off and load save state bam its saved with new name, this is the lazy way im sure LAZY would agree.
