Another FFVII Code Question

Hi! Soo recently i was hacking the game with the USO menu, to bring back Aerith. I lacked the ancient version of the gameshark, so i had to use that direction. Unfortunatley i cant remove her from the party.

I know i need an Aerith bypass checksum code... but i only found the PAL version for it.

8009D654 0001 is the code. I read that to change it to US i need to add 134 to D654.. and to be honest, i have no idea what that means @_@.

So my question is, how exactley do i convert it? And would i need a joker command to be safe?

I just did what you wrote there. This doesn't mean it will work. I don't have that game to test it.

What it means is to add the offset 134 to the address 8009D654, working both in hexadecimal. So the count gives 8009D788.

I don't think it's a cheacksum bypass, is more like a switch, 1 is on, 0 off, or 1 is off and 0 is on.

the 8009D788 0001 worked, when i loaded it said the file was ruined, which is a sign that it works... so i'll just input the ruined file bypass...

Its weird because i think i tried that one before with a joker above it and it didnt work..

The code with a joker attatched to it worked, but I ran into another problem..
I can now move Aerith to other spots in the party, and in and out of the PHS menu, but if i leave her outside the party with the others and leave the PHS menu, she dissapears. Odd. D: any.. ideas? Trying to get her permanetly moveable around the PHS menu and in and out of party without dissapearing.
