  • Zelda: Oracle of the Seasons (Gameboy Color) code question

Is there any code to simply HAVE the boomerang without doing the Subrosia dance in the volcano world? My keyboard isn't letting me do it. I can control link using my arrows, except when it comes to doing this dance thing -- the arrows send him in wrong directions.

(This is the right forum to be asking the question in, right?)

I figured I'd ask if there was an existing code -- why make a formal code request if you don't have to.

BTW, what have people's experiences with gscental.org been like? My experience has been they have a fairly low reliability factor, plus the site isn't laid out very well.

Which slot would I apply the 06 - Boomerang to? Sorry for all the questions, lol. Currently I have seven items on my subscreen, so the first empty space would be the eighth slot, right? I applied the 06 to the code 01??91C6, so it read 010691C6. But the result was a magic cape item I hadn't heard of.

I had wanted to get the Level 4 Infinite Keys code to work but it didn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong? So I tried the code simple named "keys" down at the bottom, which fills up all your hearts and gives you all your remaining large hearts you haven't got yet. ?_?

Unrelated question: This may sound silly but how do I put rings on? I have maybe six or seven of them, by my count. All I see in my inventory is a Ring Box and the Friendship Ring.

Also, those Essences of Nature you get when you beat a dungeon, they don't actually DO anything, right? They're basically this game's version of the Triforce, right?

                  [edit]

Disreguard the ring question. :P LOL. New question: The Power Ring L-2, when I wear it, shouldn't my sword say L-2, as in level 2 sword? Or does it only work with the better swords? I currently still have the wooden sword. Also, shouldn't my shield's level go up, too?

Currently i am flustrated with Phantom Hourglass and may go back to LOZ LA DX. not having the a b x y buttons avalible and having a Stylis blocking a portion of my screen during battle annoys me to no end. Then agian you are sparking my interest in this series (Season and Ages). :| Maybe i should work on Four Swords if any one would play it with me (T_T)

Hmm i should go and help hybrid find some of the GBC prototype Zelda games i have heard rumors of O.O!

Dont say no one plays zelda any more.

EDIT: watch your double posting >:-|

I've been playing Seasons on my computer via emulator, lol. I know they make controllers you can plug into a USB port and play the game like you would on a TV, but I can't afford one right now...

Link's Awakening was the first Zelda game for Gameboy, right? But which came after that in the 'storyline' -- Seasons or Ages? And these were GBC games, right? Naive question: Can VisualBoyAdvance play GBA games?

Also, reading through the Gamefaqs tutorial for the Seasons as I play it, I get the impression there is a lot of "locked" stuff you can't do unless you're playing with somebody else and your two Gameboys are linked together.

Heh? I went out and bought a PSX to USB for 10 bucks at Radioshack.

VisualboyAdvance: hmmm why does it have Advance if it only plays the games KGB could play >.>

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_se...i%3Avideogames <- Linkage for PSX to USB off amazon. Hmm i might get another one FTW!!!!one one one

                            Touché o.o Stupid question ×_×

I don't have the actual game systems. I just needed a controller. I was going to play via emulator. There's a way array of controllers, some resembling the original SNES controllers, which is what I had in mind. I've tried the the huge, oddly-shaped controllers and have trouble with them. :P

Get a PSX controller and a USB converter. That is all you really need. It works for NES, SNES Genesis and other emulation. Then again a Xbox to USB was cheaper (5 dollars!) and all you'd need to buy is a used Xbox controller.
