I did a far better invincibility for Gradius 2. These are ROM cheats fixing the issues with the previous one, where the ship graphics get corrupted when collisioning with enemies and the explode sound hears. Now no graphics corruption and only the sound of the enemies ships being destroyed.

These are for Mednafen and MESS:

Here's a question for you:

Is it possible for you to make a trainer for the PC Engine CD's?

Someone recently asked me the same. I'm not sure if that it's possible for me, I don't really know about CD structures, and where the code should be in PCE CD. I can take a look, see some basic things, but I can't say that I can. I will give a try as soon as possible.

Figured I'd bump your PCE code thread instead of making a separate one, got a new challenge for you, Forgotten Worlds, or Lost Worlds (might be as one or the other, LW is the Japanese name of the game, and the PCE CD port stayed in Japan), trying to find a cheat not for invincibility, but for either infinite credits, or infinite lifebar (you can try for the invincibility one if you'd like).

Not sure if you remember the place I linked to you in PM before where to find the game , just in case I'll PM you a link to the ISO itself so you don't have to go through hoops to find the game.

is it possible to enter these codes in the mednafenx pc engine emulator for the xbox? if so, how?

I was trying to figure out if these codes could be converted to work on the Mednafenx PC Engine emulator for the Xbox. I'm really interested in converting the invincibility codes, as I have zero skills at making that type of code.


Here's what I found out so far:

Cheat codes for Mednafenx have the following format:

TT AAAAAA VVVV

TT = Type
AAAAAA = Address
VVVV = Value




my codes I have found for New Adventure Island:

Infinite Lives
30000AD4 0002

Infinite Time
30000AD2 000C



VisitntX's codes for New Adventure Island:

well looking at the codes you have already and what VisitntX made you can see an easy pattern to make it work for this game, anyways here is what it "SHOULD" be, maybe the codes you have were made with that emulator hence the address differences also it could be the emulator he used might give different results for codes then say another emulator.

Only the 2 I have made with the emulators built in cheat code finder work.



side note: the Invincible code you posted gives me a bunch of lives, not sure how many as the counter in the game only goes to 9.

Please try to help me, as I said I can make lives, heath, but not invincible codes with the cheat finder for the Mednafenx Xbox emu, so if I can just figure out how to convert VisitntX's codes, that would be great.


Maybe you could point me to a "how to make invincible character codes" guide or something?
