The Always Have Hammer code creates a graphics glitch around Mario. You're also supposed to be able to jump and go up ladders when you toss the hammer in the air, but this wont let you...

Fan fucking tastic. I got pretty far last night and now the ROM won't load at all today. I get some kind of error message. Visual Boy Advance is still the best emulator for Gameboy and Gameboy Color games, right? Thats what I've been using. I've had very good luck with it before this.

That code does do that. and you need to turn it off to jump. Trust me i was using the real hardware and there where 2 to 3 people working on the code at the same time. This will not be resolved by using a different Emulator. Sorry. :<

No big deal. I got a different code to do what I want.

BTW, I got to level 5-7, in the pyramid world. It keeps freezing (actual total freeze where I have to restart and go back to the loaded save) on this level when too much "stuff" gets on the screen at the same time. There are a lot of bullets crossing the screen the whole time. I'm betting there's a setting in VisualBoyAdvance that can be tweaked to fix this but I don't know what it is.

i don't know either. this is one reason i don't use Gameboy emulators. i know on the physical Gameboy version it works.
