.... whats BSfree? Sorry, I'm naive

I just opened the game, last night I played it and got to the desert area. I thought it would save it. :|

Ah, thanks. I see a Mega Jump here: http://www.gshi.org/bsfree.php?s=6&d=8&g=11388 It didn't do anything, though -- Wario jumps up off the screen and then flies by over and over. Then it crashed the game a few moments later.

I get the impression Wario Land 3 didn't do very well.

No saving your game, either. At least with the ROMs. Ugh. You have to do it manually, i.e. the File **** Save Game **** (choose a slot). Frequently throughout the game you see screens telling you to wait a moment while it saves the game. I guess that doesn't do anything.

Was there a Wario Land 4?

There is a Wario Land 4 for GBA, but it's fish food compared to the original Wario Land, or Wario Land 2. WL3 just had no appeal to me. I will say WL4 makes for a good TAS run, but it's not so good for casual gaming.

I had a hard time hacking Wario land 3 last night. i personally made a request to a friend. I will continue to make an attempt on it but i doubt i will be succesful.

As for saving the game saves automaticly after you open a chest on the hardware. i dont know about the ROM though. I hope it works or else Yoshi's Island will have some issues as well.

Ah, thanks No big deal if you can't make it work -- Wario Land 3 is kind of a dumb game, which is why I thought some codes might make it funner (and easier) to play. Its too bad they went that way. It should have been more like 2.

Should I try Yoshi's Island out? Is it a side-scroller like Mario Land 1 and 2, and the Wario Land games?

                Thanks,
                Ryan

It is more like Super Mario World Yoshi's Island :3 Also it is for the Gameboy Advance. If you want an interesting side scroller i would recommend Contra if you can get the Rom.
