I was looking at the ffvii codes and I say a code that made multi player possible. this made me think could it be possible to give a game a multi player mode for games like ace combat which would require split screen.

It is possible to do a vaguely two player thing. Problem is it's just copying the controller input from #2, and overwriting it on top of #1.

You can use player 2 joker commands I suppose. I did that on Castlevania SOTN to make Fake Trevor controllable during the boss battle. I tried doing something with the familiars to make the game 2 playerlike, but I couldn't really get the effects I want.
