Try this version of fceultra. If this doesn't work, your rom is bad, i say that cuz i already tested my rom with this emulator again to see if i was missing something, but it still run it perfectly.

You mean VirtuaNES is complicated?. Do you want to hire an assistant to play NES games?. VirtuaNES isn't complicated or hard to use, my friend. You missunderstood my words.

The cheat feature of VirtuaNES is a pain in the ass. It doesn't need to be that way. Whoever wrote it assumed only computer programmers would be using it.

Is not that hard, like i said is only adding -01- to the address and the value, later this night i made it a zip file.

Well, it seems its too much for you.
Most people is acostumed to specific details of determined programs. When its time to change, to use another program, or to learn a new way to do the things, they simply refuse. And they keep using the same program and doing the same forever.
As VisitntX said, its not that hard. You just need to try to understand it.
You can't pretend to make gold just by drinking a glass of water. You need a bit of knowledge to progress further.

I still think that anybody can use it without any programming skills. You don't need to study large asm docs or nothing like that. It can confuse you at the first look but it isn't insanely difficult to understand and use it. Its very easy and its a powerfull cheat engine. Anyway, just use any emulator you like. I just wanted to point that its not impossible to use the VirtuaNES cheat feature if you're a totally newbie. I learned myself how to use it by the examples given with the emulator. Also the emu is distributed with a guide of how to use it.

Tried to play Dig Dug II with JNES, couldn't get it to work past the opening screen. I deleted my last version of FCEultra, it was outdated. Visit, got a source for the newest one? ...

I downloaded version 0.98.12. It makes the game work but I think its an outdated version of the program

FCEU has been advancing in debugging features primarily, and not much else from what I've seen. Not that terrible, considering just how awesome the debugging ability is with FCEUXDSP. 0.98.12 for FCEU is the latest, as far as I know.

Sorry for the delay, I was having connection problems. Here you have the latest version known of FCEultra (i think): FCEUXD SP 1.07.
It has primarly fixes and enhancements to the debugger, but he also fixed problems with the sound and other things with the emulation also. And the cheat function is really good.
