FFTactics 50 type codes, if they are possible, please?

No worries Helder, yes I saw when LMZ said it also, but well, all I can say is I was curious (ammong other things) those other things being well, gosh to get in a few more games into my GSPro, I really have to 'free up some space' somewhere, and looking at as I said FFT codes in my GSPro take up a whopping 20% of GSPro space, well was/am seeking to make and get some space somewhere.

do what i did, erase all games that you know you wont play and also get rid of so many damn sports games, also the memory card feature makes part of the total memory but i cant be 100% sure on that.

Well, I did that. I mean well, otherwise, I do that alot anyway, been 'awhile' but when I buy a 'new' used GSPro whenever I can find one at the local GameStop, I do erase all of what is on it and save codes and replace them via the save codes to memory card feature and transfer in order to have back ups.

Plus I do have well several GS's...and yes I know now it is being said to put those codes on the other GS's but I do like to have back ups, as is never know when you may need it and when you do if you killed it well as they say 'up the creek' :P

Plus games I am not into but my other family members are, is all on other GS's anyway, Like Lunar and Lunar 2, greta games, yes but nothing I really got into, but my sister likes it alot, so with her GS and her back up GS she has those Lunar codes as well as games she likes and owns.

I myself well, I do play and like all my games, well mostly, I have 80 some, and now my game list on my GSPro is now down to 72...but ehh is life, will just have to figure out something as I will sooner or later.

But yes I do that and have done that for years, I do 'delete' all 'official' codes from any cheat device I can, and then come back and re-enter them if need be, just the way I am, I admit, I am sorta 'all neat' about code list and such.

Such as 'Infinite Health Code' I do like mine named 'neatly, I admit, I name mine 'Enable Infinite Health', just the way I am all neat about mess like that. I do that with all cheat codes and cheat devices. Even CB, great, the best device for the PS2 I love it, but I do have to rename the codes alot, I must admit, even after the Day1 file downloads I always go back and 'edit' them around abit.

I rename games and codes and such on Action Replay for the GameCube alot, and also delete all games and re-enter them again ofn even my GBA Action Replay, got a full 94% code space free on that, with only 8 games and 174 codes so far will be awhile before that space goes, but as is GSPro well as I said, got rid of some, just as is life, will have to see, look around and make other cuts somewhere. :P

damn amy you go to alot of trouble, back in the hey day of the GSPro before i knew how to make the 5000 codes i had hundreds of lines of code for FFT,after i figured how to shorten them i had alot more free space, same thing for Breath of Fire 3 with the item codes, every item had a line of code, man that was tedius,as for the GSPro i was lucky to find me another 1 for $3 at some video store closing like about a month ago so now i have 2 GSPro's and a GS 2.4 wich is supposedly the version required to make asm codes so im all set for a while, maybe you should look on ebay for another 1,this way you can split the games into and the other.

FFTactics 50 type codes, if they are possible, please?

Yes, I do go through alot of trouble, but not complaining about it, I just like things 'neat' as I see them.

Also as for 'extra' GSPros and otehr versions, I do have a few...well more then a few, not bragging about it now, as heck was cheap to get and a lucky find on my part. (as is well known back when PS2 came out 'everyone' went off and sold their PSX systems and all their assesoris and all emss like that) and being PS2 was new and PSX was out and dead...well for awhile there 'everything' PSX was sold cheaply, and I was lucky and able to pick up alot.

So really, I do own several GSPro's, and two GS 2.4s also, as well as a GS 'modder' thingy, that comes with a spring, it is a GS but made by someone else, and anyway it has that whole dsic swap trick for use to play import games. I own that and three 'good to okay' PSX systems all hooked up. Again I am not bragging, just saying I do take 'back ups as a serious thing to me'. So all my GSPros do have 'same code' lists that way I am able to make sure that they last.

Yes I am aware if I put different games on each GS and GSPro that I would have alot of free space to kill, but otherwise as I said, I do sorta out of fear keep back ups alot now.

I mean well recently (not too recently but recent enough I learned my lesson. :P #1 awhile back a 'code' for Chrono Cross in fact ruined my PSX system. Straneg thing, I mean it plays all other games in the world, but now if I put Chrono Cross in, it will not never load the game, it even says 'put in PSX type disc' now, that PSX I did unhook and put away in the attic, but still strange it will not even play that one game and only one game anymore. Also ahd to 'repair' my PSX systems at times also recently, had to order spindle hubs because the little spindles on my PSX system just flat out fell apart. (I then decided to buy a few PSX systems just in case to again have for back ups, incase the Chrono Cross thing, or the spindles fall off again and that type of mess) Be it I have spindles now, but still...well you know, I am not paranoid, well maybe a small bit, but I do must have back ups.

Also into back ups alot now because recently, suddenly after not playing my PSX for a good while, seems a few of my memory cards just 'died' on me, not exactly, but now I have to 'wiggle' them around in memory card slots to get them to read and such, and these cards are well from 1995/96 when the system came out. So yep am a small bit well, maybe a large bit paranoid about it.

seems like you are bit but thats ok,nothing wrong with neing cautious,i myself have another psx wich i chipped as well,so i can play and hack any game needed to and about the memory cards its true i have a few that dont read any more so now i use them to keep my Game Cube elevated so i can use my GBA Player with a GS/CB.A friend of mine had that import/backup loader with the spring i found it kinda shitty as far as code support,it was like a GS 2.0 or maybe a 2.2....anyways it didnt work with alot of codes.

FFTactics 50 type codes, if they are possible, please?

Yes, as for that 'GameShark' import player Helder, it is a 'GameShark' not made by those who made it then, or so I believe, just one of the 'older' cases not like a GSPro, a light gray case like an older GS 1.0 to 2.4 really. Exact same case just different color 'gray' (Case I mean well the plastic the little 'eletronics' is set into. :P It says on the sticker 'Super Game Converter' and well... point is as you said, yeah it does 'handle' GS codes, but get into those 50 types and such and it does not, so is a lower version GS anyway.

If I knew then what I did not then, I ould not have bought the thing, but needed to play imports on some games that never made it here. :P

NOW, I know well....GSPro has that ARStop program you can install with it hooked to PC, but it takes place of your V-Mem, I used that for awhile and then got rid of it to use V-Mem, cause great little plug in program, but V-Mem is great also, and well more needed, after the 'other ways' were found out.

NOW or for awhile now heh, the GSPro 'music player' also allows you to play imports (or copies :P ) whatever you have, just allow the GSPro/PSX to 'read' the disc it will then stop all on it's own saying wetaher or not it came play the music or not, when just swap the disc with the import game and go back choose codes or whatever else and it 'plays' the import then.

heh trying to sound smart, sorry that is something known for a long time now, and as said, if I knew it, heck, I'd saved $90.00 back in 1997. When I had to have King Of Fighters 1996 only released in Japan and such...

As for memory cards, I not did the same, I am 'still trying' to revive mine, just me, I giev everything it's last chances before I mark it as 'dead'. But I can also soemwhat well alot be in common with you in the GameCube 'lift' up to play with AR in my GameBoy Player. I have a Cube stand and everything and was all like well shocked that that it had to be 'lifted' to get the game with the AR in there.

So much and being all 'neat' after a visit to the Art Supply store (Micheal's) I got a little lift up legs, 4 of them that look like little trumks of trees...plastic 'flowerly' mess...but ehh a girl's thing I guess heh I got flowers and mess my area and home looks like an indoor graden (when it is all platic and fake mostly. :P )

The thing with my memory cards is they work, just seem like they 'got smaller' I mean well, like the card slots do not hold them 'exactly' tight anymore. Kinda like a loose tooth, not real sure how that is, I not lost a tooth sense my baby teeth way back when I was little. But that thing where you pput the card in and it feels loose and you get the 'reading memory card' thing and you wiggle it around. (Sorta like again when I was little, and one of my baby teeth would 'got' and well, not to be gross or anything but hey we all were children and I'd try to stick it back in it's hole and it was all like well loose and falling out.... in other words blahhhh Memory cards are like teeth I guess.

Point I get the cards to read if I jiggle them aorund to get the 'feelings' to connect.

Kinda like all ratz now, and wish Sony would have made there memory cards insert and eject, with holders and such. :P

i sumtimes can get them to read off the 2nd player slot but i just had a great idea, try plugging them into the ps2 and copy from one good card to another or to a ps2 card,it should work and i think the ps2 is able to read them crappy old psx cards. The info you gave about the impoting/copy game playing i knew somewhat about i knew the V-mem would be lost or couldnt use it anymore but I just learned something new from you,we always learn every day, ddint know bout the music thing.

Well, play around with the 'read music' thing, I know it works, but not sure I recall the exactl steps in doing it, as is been awhile sense I even played PSX, just started not all that long ago when my cards seem to 'give out' :P

As for the card thing, yes already done that, put em in my PS2, they read, and copied all my PSX saves to PS2 card, so I do have them that way, and such a great thing PS2 cards are so big, but still, am still hehe messing and wiggling around my PSX cards trying to get the kick to catch and work. :P

I think I finally figured out why memory cards get loose after awhile. There's these two little bits of plastic inside the ports that hold onto the card, and after awhile they get worn down pretty bad. Not really any way to fix it, considering the plastic bits are most of the port.

I can see that, and well even expected 'pictured' that in my mind of the PSX and memory card slots in there where you cannot see and all. Much why I said was and is like teeth sorta. like the two roots (on some teeth) when I was little heh and yeah we all lose the baby teeth and well, am sure we all remember a loose tooth always when we were young. (Anyway rememebr that a long time ago is well what the memory card slots remind me of and now LMZ saying it is like two plastic holders, like two roots, make me thin of it even more.) :P
