  • Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike Genesis PAR Codes

Well, I got tired of attempting to use Game Genie and Pro Action Replay codes for Infinite Armor for Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, and Urban Strike with them not working in Kega Fusion, so I finally got time to find out why.

Apparently each game has a global RAM address for all levels...

    Examples:

    Desert Strike Infinite Health: FF10AF:0058
    Jungle Strike Infinite Health: FFBD81:00E8
    Urban Strike Infinite Health: FF10D3:00E8

Unfortunately, these codes don't do anything in Kega Fusion v3.51 (haven't tested with Gens). When I started to find out why, I found out quickly that each level of each game required a separate code for infinite health (2 codes per level in Jungle/Urban Strike).

After spending hours sorting through it, I finally have achieved all the infinite health codes for all three games (plus a couple extras )

    Ok, onto the codes...

Wonderful work, i will have to check if the gg works in all the levels, or the code change for each one. I had tested them only in the first level.

        The plot thickens...

I just noticed the Desert Strike Infinite Health codes lose their effect after awhile. Well, at least sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't... Something weird is going on there. :P You don't die from regular gun shots, but you die from getting rocketed. Lol.

As for the Jungle Strike / Urban Strike codes, they work perfectly, even though you might get a Low Armor alert at times, you won't die. :P

Between friends’ houses and arcades, I played everything growing up, but what I had at my house was different. I owned an NES, but a Genesis instead of SNES. I owned a Dreamcast and a PlayStation but an Xbox instead of PlayStation 2. Now I focus on PlayStation 3 instead of 360, but occasionally play Wii.

Though I admit I mostly play Wii for Virtual Console lately. And I recently bought the retro video game player on Think Geek.

What does this have to do with this topic?

and try to change the value from 58 to E8, perhaps the extra health is enough to soften the rocket blast.
