Lack of new games to hack?

Its true. Its a little annoying when you can't find a game to hack, because the game already has all the neccesary codes, or because the game sucks. Maybe looking in the depth of some obscure games?. I found Pengo browsing my genesis rom folders and It was a great game, so I hacked it. But some games doesn't worth the effort ñ___ñ.

orcanaoftime, you're welcome. BTW, i liked more your previous avatar, that bonks was really good, heh. Virtua Racing can be a pain in the ass, cuz no emu can run it. Ultraman is in a sublist with other fighting games with codes hard to do, or at least to fit in a real GG. When i finish with these games i will go with those. I think that there are only 40 of games to hack. Sad is that i can't find to buy some of them.
Whipon, i had a database with all the games and screenshots, and other database that also tells what category has each game. I looked there and put all the games worth to make a code in a list, so right now i'm following that. Yeah, some games doesn't worth the effort, but for some strange reason it seems i did codes for some of those too. Heh.
When i finally manage to make codes for all worth games i think i will go to make snes or nes gg. Maybe a little of one and a little of the other. But first i want to make regional lockout bypass for the genesis games that need one.

Yes, Its a little sad when you can't found any game to hack u___u.
I tried to hack your codes for Risky Woods. It seems the game needs a Master Code, because the game freezes in a black screen after the Genesis Bios screen.
Why not buying a Nokia Smartphone, like my N-Gage QD?. You can play Genesis, Game Boy, NES and Game Gear games anywhere, and hack the games in any way you want . Try it, I'm sure you will had lots of fun.

No, i like much more the real thing, you know, it's not the same, plus i'm sorta a collector. I have already a little more than 150 genesis games. And then, why a n-gage if when it comes to emulators i have the pc. If i want a portatil game system i can get a notebook, but then, i only play in house, when i'm out i in long journeys i usually hear music and read.
There is one game that is worth to do codes, but is hacked to death. Shadow Dancer, daminmancejin ask for some codes, but most of the possible ones were already did by other hackers, mostly Chemist.
He, Avellaneda. HAHAHA, wonderful. Racing or Independiente?

I also have a real Sega Genesis. I have all 3 models. The original big one with the stereo jack, the smaller one (with the Sega CD attached), and the little one (called the Sega Genesis 3). I prefer to play the Genesis games on my PS2 using the PGEN emulator. It is just easier. Runs almost all of the games I like too. It' really annoying when you have a problem with a game not running or something on a console emulator and people say: "...just play the game on your PC". It's just not the same as playing it on your TV.

I was going to get a Gameboy Advance and one of those blank cartriges to play the Genesis, SNES, T-16 etc but I haven't got around to it yet lol. The N-Gage sounds good though!

Mmm... Ok, here what i do to clean the connectors of the cartridge. This works 100% of the time, but have in mind that If the game cart is broken, even with this it will be not work.
Open the plastic case, and with a rubber clean the connectors from both sides. Use the same rubber that you use for pencils.

This is one of the last big updates to this thread, i pretty much covered the worth and not so worth games for genesis. I think that if there are more updates to this, they will be or some fixes, or some missed game, or some strange request. Otherwise, with these codes, and all the others in the database, should be pretty covered the sega genesis.
Only 20 games more to cover, and that's all. Probably i will split it in two more post, but if i have time, i will do them all and then post them. So one or two more post after this.

DIZZY MY FUTURE, SILLY MY WAY

Well, like i had time, and i don't have to wake up early this friday i finished the games that were left. This is it, even with some more fighting games, include it ultraman. It was long, it was good, but now it will come the time for other console to take the place of the genesis gg codes.
I want to give the thanks to Pugsy, without his help and advices probably this couldn't happens. And to Whipon for all the feedback.
Hope to find some more codes to make in the future for the genesis.

Independiente, of course!

I'n on Independiente since my childhood n_n.
The real thing is good, but play Sonic or Shining Force when you're in the journey from your work to your home is priceless.
The N-Gage is great!. But, when it comes to personal likes and dislikes there's a world to discuss. Just have fun the way you enjoy it better .
It seems there's no codes left for Genesis u___u. But it worth all the effort, right?.
Pugsy rules!!!. He's a real GSHI master!!!.

Heck, yeah, of course it worth all the effort, even with the bitches one. It was so fun, and still i will not leave the m68k, i play with the winuae debugger, heh. And then there are codes for genesis that i want to improve.

I'm invulnerable to football teams jokes. I'm with Independiente because I live in Avellaneda and Racing...Must I explain why I'm not with Racing?. I'm not a football fanatic, I almost dont' watch football matchs, except for the Argentina Selection ones . (I almost don't watch TV at all).

Keep hacking and adding great codes to the database. Perhaps someone feels this is a race, in wich the one who makes more codes wins. I'd never tought it that way. I hack what I want to hack. If someone requests me a code and If its possible to me to make it I'll gladly make it for him. But I think there's not any race or competition here. Just great guys with lots of free time and love for our beloved old retro console systems.

I agree with you. This is just fun. I don't know why, but I enjoy a lot hacking games. I feel identified a lot in the following phrase: "i can't beat any game without cheating". Literally, I can't play without cheating ñ________ñ (except fighting games, lol).
