  • I hacked the following codes for NES Contra 3(Unl)[P1]

    READER ADVISORY:
    this is a VERY crappy version of Contra 3 for the NES, Genesis, or MAME/arcade. if you are not a diehard NES player who just cannot get enough 'Contra' or NES games in general, you'll be disappointed with this'n. But frienda are friends, and I was only too glad to hack the codes for her. If you play this game, I hope YOU enjoy'em, too! (I can only find three weapons in this game.)

    NES FCEU/PAR codes, Contra 3(Unl)[P1] (All values hexadecimal)

    Infinite Lives
    0091 004
    Invin "B"(Note: Cannot pick up any icons while in this mode, can still die by falling off screen)
    0315 010
    Weapon(Note:Cannot change weapon while this code is on)
    0312 XX
    Replace "XX with
    rifle

        • Maharajah(J) for NES FCEU Codes

          I've been playing lotsa Japanese games lately with English patches. A friend turned me on to this game, Maharajah(J) with an English patch by Snark, & asked me to hack some codes for it. I don't care much for it, but what the hell, someone somewhere does or it woulda been in VG hell by now, forgotten & unplayed. Nor would Snark have taken the trouble to have translated it & made an English-language patch. Well, anyway, here's some FCEU codes for it:

          Maharajah(J) (All values hexadecimal)

          Huge HP
          0642 FF
          Huge MP
          0645 FF
          Str 999
          0646 E7
          0648 003
          Def 999
          0648 E7
          0649 003
          Agi 999
          064A E7
          0649 003
          Huge gold
          064D FF
          Exp. 65545 One Fight
          064F FF

          MERRY CHRISTMAS!

                • Hey, I haven't contributed any codes for awhile, so I thought I'd make this modest addition-

                  Since there's now an excellent English patch for the Japanese NES game Jigoku Gokuraku Maru, here are a few FCEU codes for it:

                  Jigoku Gokuraku Maru(J)

                  Untouchable(Blinks)
                  0089 0A
                  Infinite Lives
                  06C0 004
                  Freeze Timer(Note 1)
                  0691 009
                  Have weapon(Note 2)
                  00D0 XX

                  Note 1: Timer code, Energy code, and Power(chips) codes must be DCd at chapter's end or at end of chapter boss fight to advance. They can be rebooted at start of next chapter.

                  Note 2: replace XX with:
                  000 Hair(default weapon)
                  001 Fireball
                  002 Fire wave
                  003 3-Way Shot
                  004 Bomb
                  005 Homing missiles
                  007 Nuke
                  You can only use one weapon at a time. The screen will show whatever weapon you had selected before you booted up the code, but you'll use the weapon from the code untill you change or DC it. You can use the codes to start with any weapon!

                  • Bump...

                    What with Ugetab's death, etc. I figured all the mods were snowed for awhile, but since a decent interval has passed, I thought I'd bump up these code hax I made.

                    • Is it possible to you use these codes with NesterJ NES emulator for PSP?

                      loading it like a game genie code didn't work, its got another option for "load cheats" but it says it's unsuccessful when I try doing it like game genie, adding the code to a text file.

                        Yes, you can.

                        For example
                        Code:
                        Maharajah(J)
                        Def 999
                        0648 E7
                        0649 03
                        to
                        Code:
                        NAME=Def 999
                        ON=0, 0648, E7, 0649, 03
                        rename the text file to game rom name
                        Maharajah(J).chj
                        lee4 Does Not Accept Codes Requests !
                        When lee4 asks a question it does not mean lee4 will look at your game

                          what does ON=0 mean? Will it ever have to be changed?

                          Can you do game genie codes like this too? Making multiple text files so you can enable seperate cheats takes a while to load each one separately having to go through emu menu each time.

                          edit:

                          Found another way to do it somewhere else that worked, this didn't seem too.

                          Super Spy Hunter
                          Infinite Energy 007B 40
                          Infinite Lives 0074 05

                          This worked:

                          [0]
                          Name=Inf Health
                          0=Max,74,05
                          Default=0

                          [01]
                          Name=Inf Energy
                          0=Max,7B,40
                          Default=0

                          This didn't, also tried ON=1

                          NAME=Inf health
                          ON=0, 0074, 05

                          NAME=Inf health
                          ON=0, 0078, 40

                            which version of NesterJ you using?

                            Example: NesterJ 1.12 Plus 0.61 RM

                            Gamegenie codes formatted only this way.
                            SLXPLOVS Infinite lives for Mario and Luigi
                            super_mario_bros_3.pat

                            I never try mixing RAW and Gamegenie codes together.

                              • The recent release of an English patch code for the old NES/Famicom Japanese shooter Insector X has sparked renewed interest in this game. Here's a FCEU code to add to Rey's excellent codes already up for this game:

                                NES FCEU/FCEUD

                                Insector X(J)

                                Your char's onscreen speed
                                00CE XX (Note)

                                Note: 003 should be fast enough for most players. Setting the value above 004 makes your char uncontrollable.
