(apoliges for the story, i felt some background needed to be explained, and sorry for my iffy writing skills)
For those familer with this game, and what the abilitys are, one of the more sought after codes back in the day when this game was getting hacked was codes that gave your units all the abilitys they could learn.
most of my searching back then brought me to gamefaqs, and a patch codes FAQ made by labmaster, which did have some of those codes.
the downside was that these codes were not slide codes, and had a TON of entrys, very tedious even to enter using the pc software back then.
the other alternatives was codejunkes broken codes that did the job half done >.>, which were slide codes.
I made a post on Gamefaqs about finding shorter codes, and eventuly some hacker, or somebody that this person knew, fixed the codejunkies slide codes, and they did the job right.
these improved codes never got submitted or posted anywhere but gamefaqs as far as i could see, and the topic got purged eventluly. my tracking efforts in the last couple weeks could not find them online, heck, codejunkies took the flawed codes off their database, never put fixed ones up.
my old Ar with the codes had broken, which was my reason for seeking them again, i wondered if i could do what that hacker done and fix the codes, and found the broke codes on GSHIs BSfree database (the one that looks like old GSC)
I spent some time tinkering, found one thats does give abilitys, but it bugs up other stats, and continued tinkering not knowing crap about slide codes, and them recalled the old Pc i used back then down in the office, (crappy dell with 98 still on it)
I turned the sucker on, dug through my old XPC files that was damm lucky to not been wiped by my parents.
