This is the last Battletoads game request thread, I promise.
Similar to what happens with the NES and Game Boy version (for some reason this isn't the case with the SNES version), the Mega Drive version needs an specific infinite lives cheat for levels 4-1 and 4-2. Please submit one that works for both players.
In the case of the Mega Drive I suppose it's easier to do it because this version, unlike the Game Boy version, has a built in level selector cheat that makes you possible to start at 4-1 or 4-2.
The level modifier cheat on the game page, by the way, doesn't work. It seems to be a similar issue to what was happening with the level modifier cheat of Battletoads. You may think that it's not necessary due to the built in level selector cheat, but if you use that cheat you will always get a bad ending because of having used cheats, so it's convenient to have a working level modifier cheat that gets the good ending when completing the game.
And last, please submit a cheat to start with 6 lives, both players.
