Toca 2 - Ps1 Gamehacking codes don't work.

I've noticed that your Toca 2 (PS1) codes don't seem to work. I'm using Action Replay (PAL).

I even tried the codes from Codejunkies's website but to no avail.

Is it because i'm using a different release of the game (Bestsellers budget release) rather than the original release of the game? Any help would much appreciated

I don't know if you can help again (if you can) but now i'm having the same problem with Colin McRae Rally. I own the "value series" release, (https://gamehacking.org/game/112896) but none of the codes work. Serial number is SLES00477#2 and it's the PAL release of the game.
