It seems that every single infinite egg code on this and every other site is a fake. They certainly jack the number of eggs displayed, but the game fights back, and drops that number to nothing eventually. Then you're fucked.
EDIT: they're infinite in the main game, but as soon as you enter an arena like a boss fight, they're no longer infinite. For instance I gave myself 9 eggs. That number never decreased in the main game, but in the boss fight against the train, it was immediately at 2, then I fired those 2 and I was out.
