Genesis - Rock n Roll Racing - Current Lap code

So this code means you start on the last lap. Problem is, you're always on the last lap - the race never ends. Is there some sort of code you can add to this so that it enables you to finish the race (in one lap) without having to constantly enable / disable the code?

PAR code FFD1B0:0001 works fine for me. Race always ends when I next cross the finish line. You sure you are Player 1?

Yep, player 1. The code clearly has an effect, because 'Lap' always says 1 even from the start, but like I say the race never ends.

Code works with no issues for me in Kega Fusion. Are you using Gens? Try FFD1B1:0001 if you are using Gens.

Just tried that code and same effect - shows Laps 1, race never ends. This is in Genesis Plus GX in Retroarch.
