Anyone still hacking codes for Codebreaker on Playstation 2?

There are some codes I have been wanting for the Greatest Hits versions of Ratchet & Clank and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. I am not sure however if posting code requests for them would be worthwhile. I want to see if there is someone who would be interested in tackling them before I post the requests.

I took the time to do a forum search under the keywords "Ratchet and Clank" shortly after I posted my original message. That lead me to the codes you had posted in the forums, Azagthoth. Several of the codes I was interested in were among the search results, so I have found most of the ones I need. Currently I am only interested in an infinite health code for the turret you need to use to shoot down the ship carrying the bomb on Hoven. I know the key to finishing that mission, but those Blarg helicopters are a major pain in the rear end. Sometimes there are just too many of them and shooting them down becomes a mentally exhausting struggle.

I could also use a code that disables the time limit when swimming through the water tanker in Drek's Fleet. I seem to be unable to avoid hitting those lasers and rotating shields. It would be a big help if I could ignore the time limit and just take my time maneuvering around the obstacles in there.

So in summary what I want currently is Infinite turret health on Hoven and No time limit to swim through water tanker in Drek's fleet. I suspect that these codes may already exist. I definitely want to search the forums again a bit later. I have already gathered a fair bit of codes and need to take the time to sort and test them.

I can take a look at this tomorrow. I will need to port this to greatest hits since i have the non greatest hits version of both games. I may need a dump since I may need to do memory codes unless i can find the asm that only deals with the player only.

I also hacked a 1 hit kill code which could be used on planet hoven, that's if I can't get to the turret with pcsx2 emulator.

Hey Azagthoth, I have tested some of the ship codes for the Greatest Hits edition of Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando that you posted in this thread.

I tested the infinite ship health, pre upgrade infinite shields, pre upgrade infinite boost, pre upgrade infinite missiles, pre upgrade infinite mines, pre upgrade infinite torpedoes, and infinite nukes codes for the Hrugis Cloud. None of them worked and I suspect none of the after ship upgrade codes will either. Just out of curiosity, what game region is the game that they were hacked for? Are those codes for the PAL version of Going Commando Greatest Hits by any chance? I have the US NTSC version of the game.

I have the greatest hit version of RC GC as you put it. I wonder though if there are multiple versions of even the Greatest Hits edition of the game. The codes I tested I gathered from post #39 in the thread I linked to above. Perhaps those codes despite being for the GC version are for a version other than the one I have. I have used the PS2 disk version checker to get my game's ID key. It is listed below.

Same one I got. I loaded up the game with the emulator. I was way off on the those addresses for the ship options, i updated those codes from the link you provided. You can test more codes if you want then i can check them for you if they don't work.

The codes that I have noted as don't work fall into one of two categories. Either the gamesave can be loaded, but the code has no noticable effect. Or, the code just prevents the gamesave from loading altogether. With those that prevent the gamesave from loading, the game itself loads normally. You can get to the gamesave loading screen, but after you select the file you want to load and confirm, you just get a blank screen. I tested these codes on a factory original copy of Codebreaker 9.3 with a first generation fat Playstation 2.
