So at his request I purchased a Gameshark for my son for Xmas to use with his Gamebody SP. He mostly plays Pokemon Ruby - I was curious if anybody has gotten this combo of equipment to work with functioning codes. When you try to enable the mastercode (M must be on), it goes to white screen when trying to load the game. One of my old games (Zelda, link to the past) worked fine, code enabled, so it's not a broken shark).
The Shark is a Mad Catz one. Initially it looked like it was loaded with SuperCheats.com's Master Codes, per their site, and read a comment that they only work on the first run GBA. Found this site, and I read through to the game page here and saw a different Master for the Mad Catz, but I haven't been able to get it to work either.
Honestly, mostly just curious if it's even possible, or if I'm just putting a lot of effort into a lost cause. Any help would be appreciated.
