Hello all,
After creating a HDBoot 1.93/ PS2 phat, PAL setup i tried to activate some codebreaker codes, and as far as i now understand this does not work on my pal machine.
Codebreaker does start (in black and white ntsc on my pal tv) and activates the code, when i launch the screen goes black. Several sources say it only runs fine on ntsc, so i think this is a deadend.
Winhiip does have a ppf patch option which can patch the iso itself (as far as i understand codebreaker patches in memory), however i can't find many patches for that.
My question, what are my options here. Is there a way to patch my euro pal ps2 games like ratched and clank 1 (sces-50916/P) and silpheed (sles-50193), or can i just forget about it.
All ideas/tricks on this are welcome !! Maybe convert the codebreakers codes and add them in an other way, or just run a debugger on the ps2 to patch the game on the fly or the best case scenario patch the iso files themselves (i only found the ppf's on http://consolecopyworld.com, but maybe there is more out here) ..
Regards,
RickD
