Don't like fighters very much, & they have too much common code. Anyway try these, I don't think they are exactly what you wanted though

My code changes 176cf2 to
176CF2: 6700 0002 beq $176cf6
your 'fixed' code changes 176cec to
176CEC: 0C6B 0002 E48A cmpi.w #$2, (-$1b76,A3)
The simple fact is that your 'fixed' version of my cheat code has exactly the same effect as mine, however I've forced the branch never to be taken as it
jumps to 176CF6 regardless. However if -$1b76,A3 contains 2 then with 'your' code the branch is taken....which means that your code is worse than mine.
The difference is that I know what I am doing so please don't try to say that you've improved my code when it's blatantly obvious you haven't a clue what you've done to the game code - changing a single character in the GG code is not going to make this code any better.
These cheat codes aren't perfect - they were both quick hacks, however they are clean and they do what they say they do. If you are trying to claim this cheat as your own because you've changed one character and made it slightly worse (not better), then nice try but no cigar.
