[Request] Shadow Dancer Master System (USA) - Invincibility

Hi guys,


The Shinobi series on Master System is one of the all time best! I’ve seen that Shinobi and Cyber Shinobi already have “invincibility” codes in the database.

Is there any chance someone can create an “invincibility” code (Game Genie format) for Master System Shadow Dancer? This would be awesome!

I tried my best, but I couldn't find anything.

What's going to make this code tough to find is that there is no Invincibility routine in the game. It's one hit and your dead. I have had very little success in the past when it comes to making Invincibility codes for these kinds of games.

Shit game, not sure if I could have made this with less codes.....I went too far down the rabbit warren to start again. Lots of different routines for collisions with each character or weapon that needed bypassing. Besides there's not as if there is an actual game genie for SMS to use these with so I guess the large number of codes is a mute point as they will be used in an emulator.

One boss could walk off the screen and not come back with Invincibility enabled....but you would have to really try to let that happen.

Graphical glitches throughout, might be the codes or the game....not going to look any more though. I managed to finish the game with the cheats so that's good enough for me.

BTW, I noticed that the Invincibility cheat for the Arcade version of Shadow Dancer is just as complex. Also, the Genesis version required 6 codes plus another 1 if you wanted the dog to not get hurt.

Holy crap! Thanks very much for your efforts on this guys - particularly Pugsy ! While the game is fun to play, I very much appreciate this cheat because the collision detection on this game is so hyper sensitive. Thanks again !
