Artemis PS2

Hi All,

Im looking for some help and advice, I remembered when I installed Artemis onto my PS3 I saw that it started off on the PS2.

I am having problems with my Action Replay Max in that it is causing grphical glitches when ever i try play GTA SA.

So I thought if Artemis is similar to that on the PS3 in which you select your codes from the console then boot your game.

But I am ??? to which one I need to install.

I tried a few months back and didnt have any luck, all i got was a black screen with a a few options and one was to load codes, but it never would.

I can see on this site it has screenshots..... which version is this that has the similar menu as the PS3.

I also hear its possible to compare your own dumps and find your own ps2 codes,

and off topic, because if this is possible for the PS2 I think ill start finding codes again for the older systems, i remember the cube had a tool for viper chipped consoles but i can remember its name.

Artemis on the PS2 was more for scanning and finding codes like NetCheat on the PS3. In the end, I can't remember if it had writing capabilities. http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/12066-CheatDevicePS2 might be more of something you're looking for.

thanks, will take a look, i came across this on this site and thought the ps2 version had a gui like on the ps3.

it has that many on the right side im not sure which of them is the best one to go for, but the one i did try i had a black screen and asked to press O (i think) to load cheats but it couldnt find anything.

another option trying to boot the game claimed it cant locate the game or it was too far to reach (retail game in drive).

i will read more on the posts because i use elf loader to boot elfs and i just get a black screen

ok ive found a version that works but it doesnt seem that the codes seem to take effect.#

ill test with another game just to check.

but is this the correct procedure, boot the cheatdevice.elf, select codes, press O to return to menu, press start game and then select disc (because my game is a retail game) and the screen changes color for a few seconds then loads the game.

also i cant seem to get cheatdevice to boot if i copy/run the files from MC2, only runs if its from USB.
