I have a request for camera & misc codes for this game...I found some camera codes for the Japanese version (the codes are at the beginning of the list) but I don't know how to translate them to the NA version. I figure the value parts of the codes are the same since they're so like, basic? But I think the beginnings would be different...Codes for things like Max HP in the Japanese version are different compared to the NA version and I don't know how to figure out the formula for the changes..
Here's the codes for the Japanese version with some translations for what they are...:
Character polygon display level
301CE798 00xx
(normal value = 7C)
POV code
301CE799 00xx
(far = 00, near = 0F, normal value = 03, dungeon view = 02)
POV code 2
301CE79D 00xx
(bird's-eye view = 00, horizontal = 0F, normal value = 02)
I was also wondering if there are codes for editing the game on a bigger scale? I've seen a lot of screenshots where there are monsters/bosses in the wrong places or the main character is wearing endgame armor when they're level 1..(its not just armor that's hacked in, the end of the game has a certain sequence of events that actually change the main character's overworld sprite. You can hack in that particular armor and wear it anytime but it doesn't actually change the appearance...it's like someone hacked the actual character model to be the endgame version?)
I don't even know what kind of codes are needed for that, maybe something that could get me into like a "testing" stage or something?? Or individual codes, but that's a lot....I'm mainly concerned about the camera codes and the part below this, but if anyone has any ideas or insight, I'd appreciate it!!

For the second part of this post, I don't understand how this game is able to work. I've seen the files of other psx games and they have stuff like .str and .xa and whatever in them. This game has about 13 completely empty folders (all named after important elements in the game, like the main character or npcs) and then a SLUS_008.11 file (??) and a SYSTEM.CNF file. I can't find anything to extract, there's absolutely nothing in those folders and about 80% of the disc space is taken up by the SLUS file. Has anyone ever had this before? It's not just this ISO either....it's like every single version of the game is like this, the physical copy of the game is like this, too. I don't know where to even begin looking for where the actual data files are...........
I've gotten so many psx hacking/editing tools over the years and I have yet to find something that works with this game. Can anyone shed some light on how to get data files or anything from this kind of setup?
