    Hi guys, I have a question. You see, I played this game again in ePSXe and I tried to use Gameshark codes to do a kind of Purple Gem Cup outside Adventure mode. Tried to use the character modifier codes for the NTSC version, but I noticed something. I know that if you use Oxide as AI player outside of a boss challenge, it will crash due to a polygon limit thing. However, it seems it also happens when you try to use a boss/special character as AI player while the others are the 8 usual racers. For example, using this line-up.

    30086E84 0000 (Crash)
    30086E86 0001 (N. Cortex)
    30086E88 0002 (Tiny)
    30086E8A 0003 (Coco)
    30086E8C 0004 (N. Gin)
    30086E8E 0005 (Dingodile)
    30086E90 0006 (Polar)
    30086E92 0008 (Pinstripe)

    Pinstripe's presence crashes the game and I would like to know why... It will crash also if I'm playing as a boss/special character and try to replace one of the other seven racers with Pura (who's not there because of my special character)

    Do the bosses model also have high polygons like Oxide? If that was the case, how can the Purple Gem Cup use 4 bosses at once? Or is this an emulator problem?
