  • Iron Storm (USA) \ Sakausen File (JP) (Saturn) Codes

    For a long time, these were the only codes available for IRON STORM:

    Master Code:
    F6000914 C305
    B6002800 0000

    Unlimited money (This sets Player 1’s Money to $65,000~)
    1603BCB2 FFFF

    Build Units Anywhere:
    D6006034 0001
    160DE6E0 0001

    But I recently found online (http://www.consoledatabase.com/cheat...urn/ironstorm/)

    a long list that I reproduced on my website as a backup
    (http://alternatewars.com/Games/Daise...PAR_States.htm)

    This led to a set of codes from Console DB:

    Beat Scenario Somewhat Easily through Invincible Air Super-Unit

    36037419 000A
    3603741A 00FF
    3603741B 00FF
    36037428 000A
    36037429 000A
    36037430 0060
    36037418 00FF
    16037420 005F < - 500 kg bomb into Air Unit #1 Weapon Slot #1

    All of these codes put together will create an “invincible” super-unit for Air Unit #1, meaning you can move it as many times as you want, never run out of ammo, fuel or lose manpower, and you'll have maximum experience and training. You can use this to move straight to the enemy's main HQ and continually bomb it from the air until you win.

    I kept pecking away until i found the alliance/flag memory locations through a built in cheat for Iron Storm.

    Win Scenario instantly by resetting all side alliances to be on the same side

    Use all the codes below, then run a single turn. At the end of the turn you will win that scenario.

    3603BCBA 00FF = #1 Side One Alliance A
    3603BCBB 00FF = #2 Side One Alliance B
    3603BCBC 00FF = #3 Side One Alliance C
    3603BCBD 00FF = #4 Side One Alliance D
    3603BCBE 00FF = #5 Side One Alliance E

    3603BCD2 00FF = #1 Side Two Alliance A
    3603BCD3 00FF = #2 Side Two Alliance B
    3603BCD4 00FF = #3 Side Two Alliance C
    3603BCD5 00FF = #4 Side Two Alliance D
    3603BCD6 00FF = #5 Side Two Alliance E

    3603BCEA 00FF = #1 Side Three Alliance A
    3603BCEB 00FF = #2 Side Three Alliance B
    3603BCEC 00FF = #3 Side Three Alliance C
    3603BCED 00FF = #4 Side Three Alliance D
    3603BCEE 00FF = #5 Side Three Alliance E

    3603BD02 00FF = #1 Side Four Alliance A
    3603BD03 00FF = #2 Side Four Alliance B
    3603BD04 00FF = #3 Side Four Alliance C
    3603BD05 00FF = #4 Side Four Alliance D
    3603BD06 00FF = #5 Side Four Alliance E

    I then went over to Sakausen File. The cheats for Iron Storm didn't work in Sakausen File; so I had to create my own.

    16039DF2 FFFF = Set Money for Side #1 to $65,000~

    36035594 0060 = Move Unlimited Times, Air Unit #1 for Side #1
    3603557F 00FF = Unlimited Gas, Air Unit #1 for Side #1
    36037428 000A = Unlimited Weapon 1, Air Unit #1 for Side #1
    3603557D 000A = Maximum Manpower, Air Unit #1 for Side #1
    3603557E 00FF = Maximum Training, Air Unit #1 for Side #1
    3603557C 00FF = Maximum Experience, Air Unit #1 for Side #1

    But ultimately, I was able to find the memory locations for the Alliance flags through reasonable deduction.

    Basically, Sakausen file is Iron Storm version 1.5, so I did a hunch that if I found the offsets for Iron Storm locations, I'd be able to find the locations in Sakausen File.

    I built an excel file to do this, and it was basically:

    IRON STORM
    Side 1 Money 603BCB2 hexadecimal is 100908210 decimal
    Side 1 Alliance A 603BCBA hexadecimal is 100908218 decimal Difference from Money Location is 8
    Side 2 Alliance A 603BCD2 hexadecimal is 100908242 decimal Difference from Money Location is 32
    Side 3 Alliance A 603BCEA hexadecimal is 100908266 decimal Difference from Money Location is 56
    Side 4 Alliance A 603BD02 hexadecimal is 100908290 decimal Difference from Money Location is 80

    I then plugged in the location of Side #1's money in Sakausen file and then did some offset generating.

    SAKAUSKEN FILE.

    6039DF2 100900338 Side 1 Money (known)
    6039DFA 100900346 Side 1 Alliance A (guessed at through memory address for money plus 8.)

    My hunch worked, generating the following codes in Sakausen File:

    Win Scenario instantly by resetting all side alliances to be on the same side

    Use all the codes below, then run a single turn. At the end of the turn you will win that scenario.

    36039DFA 00FF Side 1 Alliance A
    36039DFB 00FF Side 1 Alliance B
    36039DFC 00FF Side 1 Alliance C
    36039DFD 00FF Side 1 Alliance D
    36039DFE 00FF Side 1 Alliance E

    36039E12 00FF Side 2 Alliance A
    36039E13 00FF Side 2 Alliance B
    36039E14 00FF Side 2 Alliance C
    36039E15 00FF Side 2 Alliance D
    36039E16 00FF Side 2 Alliance E

    36039E2A 00FF Side 3 Alliance A
    36039E2B 00FF Side 3 Alliance B
    36039E2C 00FF Side 3 Alliance C
    36039E2D 00FF Side 3 Alliance D
    36039E2E 00FF Side 3 Alliance E

    36039E42 00FF Side 4 Alliance A
    36039E43 00FF Side 4 Alliance B
    36039E44 00FF Side 4 Alliance C
    36039E45 00FF Side 4 Alliance D
    36039E46 00FF Side 4 Alliance E

    I've attached a ZIPfile containing Yabause 0.9.15 (Win64) .yct files for both games for the "set ally flags to the same side and thus win scenario instantly in one turn."

    Win_Instantly_Cheat_Yabause.zip

    Hopefully this will be of help to the few people who remember IRON STORM.

      Here's something for IRON STORM (US) Only:

      Change Turn Number
      NOTE: You will need to push the A/B/C buttons to get the turn display to disappear. When it shows back up again, it will display the newly altered turn count.
      3603BC68 00xx
      00 = Turn 1
      01 = Turn 2
      02 = Turn 3
      03 = Turn 4
      04 = Turn 5
      05 = Turn 6
      06 = Turn 7
      07 = Turn 8
      08 = Turn 9
      09 = Turn 10
      0A = Turn 11
      0B = Turn 12
      0C = Turn 13
      0D = Turn 14
      0E = Turn 15
      0F = Turn 16
      10 = Turn 17
      11 = Turn 18
      12 = Turn 19
      13 = Turn 20

        BTW, the reason I knew how to find the turn number (and how it was off by 1 digit with 0 = Turn 1, and the ALLIANCE flags being 0 and 255 was back in 2015, I did a lot of comparing the binary saved game files generated by SSF through the in-game memory save, looking for what changed between saves.

        So when in doubt trying to find something weird, look through the saves; as they toss everything except the most important stuff.

          Here's a new set of codes for IRON STORM.

          Change CPU/Human Control Over Sides

          3603BD3C 00xx = Player 1 Controller
          3603BD3D 00xx = Player 2 Controller
          3603BD3E 00xx = Player 3 Controller
          3603BD3F 00xx = Player 4 Controller
          3603BD40 00xx = Player 5 Controller

          The xx can be changed to get the flag you want:

          01 = User Controlled
          02 = AI Controlled

          This can be used to change Side 01 to CPU (normally not possible) so that you could play opposite sides in a scenario.
