Codes of Pokemon Emerald on VBA?

I'm playing Pokemon Emerald of VBA 1.7.2, when I use codes of MadCatz none of them working . Can you help me how to make them work?

Far as I know, you can't mix and match codes from different devices. So you either have to use all the same type of code, or convert some of the codes with the sites code convertor.

That emulator version is old as shit, use the latest vba-m. Don't bother with those type of codes, most don't work on emulators. Use old Codebreaker Advance codes, those work great (the 8/3xxxxxxx yyyy type).

I've deleted all other codes, only add Madcatz codes and it worked .
BTw, how to know codes as same devices, I add both code from Madcatz and Absolute Empty (same type CB), but only Madcatz code working? Are there emulator support multiple devices?

lee's method is mostly for codes not on the site. It would work with this sites codes too, but all you have to do to convert codes on this website is click the down arrow next to the code and it gives the code in all formats. The only ones that don't convert to codebreaker format are probably the codes that require certain kinda activators. Codebreaker may not have all the same types of activators that other cheat devices have.
