    gensVKNTracer

gens version with debugging functions by Yakovlev Victor

combines the capabilities GensTracer set breakpoints read / write, convenient cheat codes search engine from Gens by Nick o'DIMM, and GensKMod function (which in turn was an attempt to add to Gens chips primitive Genecyst emulator for DOS).

So that's it's real name then. I'm the one who saved mark 1 from being lost to english speakers. Someone posted it on gscentral.com's forum and it was ignored completely. Wasn't until I was making new codes for it that people asked about it. Soon lots of hackers started making codes for genesis with it. So grateful for the mark 1. Genesis was really underhacked back in the day.

Does mark 2 do anything new, cheat code wise? Can it search more of the sega cd ram? Or at least use sega cd cheat codes?

I learned about Mark 1 from Tony in Jan 2005, and was using Mark 2 in April, June 2005

it can open rar files and maybe use a few new filters. Gens is Open Sauce and has been since 2003, so if someone wanted to do it, and had the knowhow, it could be done.

When I found it it was called gens hacking version. So that's what it was called in the upload. If the staff sees this maybe they should correct the name.
