NEED HELP HACKING SEGA 32x ROMS WITH HEX EDITOR

ok so im trying to hack the game doom i got the hacks from here http://www.angelfire.com/games2/codehut/32xROMhacks.txt but when i try to search for the rom address the hex workshop tells me the adress isnt there am i doing something wrong?

If you want to make your own cheats, it's best if you download Cheat Engine or download an emulator that has a built in ram search like Bizhawk.

My guess is that you're doing something wrong. Are you sure you're searching in the Doom ROM and not a save state?

EDIT: As an example, just follow the instructions below...

03F580:7100
Infinite pistol ammo. Go to ROM address $03F580 with your hex editor and change the 71FF to 7100.

for thoes who ask i was able to figure out a way to convert some of the hex codes to game genie codes using a program
