[DC] Gameshark / Action Replay CDX - Bypass special memory card dongle

I recently bought an item that took quite long to find (still waiting for it to arrive): GameShark Upgrade CD 4.0 for Dreamcast.
This was an upgrade CD that Interact offered back in the day for a small fee for users of GameShark CDX 3.3
As far as know, the Upgrade CD simply replaces the v3.3 CD; however it still requires the black memory card dongle.

I don't have that dongle, and although I plan to buy one in the future, I'm not sure when that will be.

So, I remember reading in another thread here (then on a different forum) that the PS1 Gameshark CDX dongle requirement could be bypassed by using a Gameshark code. I also found a cracked version of DC Gameshark CDX 3.3 in another website.

My questions are:
-Is anyone aware of a Gameshark code (or other way to bypass) the DC Gameshark CDX dongle requirement? Or anyone willing to hack a code to do this?
-Alternatively, does anyone know how the DC Gameshark CDX 3.3 was cracked? Maybe the same can be applied to the Upgrade CD.

I did not know that a 4.0 upgrade existed for the dreamcast. I just use a huge save that already has tons of codes installed. You can find it on a save disc like Dream Explorer which can be found here if you would want to fallback on that if the 4.0 upgrade disc can't be cracked:

Yeah, I didn't know about the 4.0 upgrade disc until some years ago when I was browsing the gameshark websites via the wayback machine and found a page mentioning the disc was available. Some weeks ago I found it on eBay, and had someone from the US buy it, dump it (i.e. create a CD image) then send it to me (I'm still waiting for it to arrive... hopefully this week).

Just to clarify: At the moment, I have no plans on using it for game cheating; I'm just expanding my existing collection of game enhancers. I'm curious about bypassing the CDX dongle in case I can't buy the dongle, or in case it arrives DoA or I lose it in the future... and just for fun, as it's been done for the PS1 version (via crack and GS code) and for the DC 3.3 version (crack only).

Oh it will. Useful for many games. It also has a built-in hex editor for editing saves as well.
