Yeah, it's illegal but if you're expecting somebody to go out and find your old game and the exact version and buy it to make codes for you, you might be the one trolling. You have the Japanese version of the game, and I don't even know if Helder lives in or near Japan possibly making it even more difficult even if he would attempt to find and purchase it somewhere.

You could always try scanning for enemy health and positions. RE4 had enemy position coordinates within 16 bytes of the enemy type.

I've had moments where people endlessly bugged me about games I had never heard of asking for codes, I keep saying no, and they wouldn't stop. Eventually it came down to either you're getting me a link to your copy of it and I'll see what I can do or stop asking me because I'm not going out of my way to dig through game shops for it and buying it when the game royally sucks. Biohazard doesn't fit the "royally sucks" criteria and was a good game, but I still wouldn't go as far back as the PS1 unless my PS3 and PS4 somehow exploded and I couldn't afford more, but then it's only a "maybe" sort of thing.

I found codes Helder but if I change zombie to hunter and open the door to check what is change, only the door open then stay black screen I don't know why not working...I wonder what is wrong in that codes ?

What does the second line do? and how do you know if it's working? does the enemy change into another when you use the code or do you have to enter in the room with codes active?

I know why Hunter was avaialbe to change, because Doctor zombie it is still in RAM Random not deleted but if I change to another it is unavailable, cause all monsters not in same area...etc

Are you using the Dual shock version? is it the SLPS-00998 version? Using the Debugger we might be able to get stable results.

Also tried your save states and they crashed the game so must be different versions, your codes didn't work for me either so unless I get the save states working I can't really see what's happening.
