i feel like i know how to port the same game from ntsc to pal or vice versa, but i don't know how to port from two different games to the same region.. would you mind explaining to me how to do it Az?

going to be harder since i don't know if both games are the same cheat engine or what. best bet is to find the memory and then find the asm. I thought you wanted to port region to another region.

ok, so they have to have the same cheat engine.. so.. what, just pull it up in pcsx2 to find memory or what?

EDIT: oh, did you misunderstand? yeah, i want to try to port nightshade to shinobi which are BOTH ntsc and i believe nightshade is the sequel to shinobi. hope that makes better sense.

i don't think they are same cheat engine? I'm not talking about cheat engine program ps2 game cheat engine for a game. could be the same asm but different offsets. do both games have this tate time and other stuff your requesting?

nightshade has infinite tate time, while shinobi has infinite tate slash which are not exactly the same but similar.

EDIT: there is a gauge for the time it takes for you to TATE and there is a gauge for the TATE or SLASH gauge also that has to be filled in order for you to perform a TATE. Nighshade has the TATE time gauge but not the TATE/SLASH gauge itself.

in the thread for shinobi that code is for infinite TATE or "Slash Gauge" as its called i guess.

its a little ironic i guess, the example shinobi code set has the infinite TATE/SLASH gauge but not the infinite TATE time gauge. in the Nightshade example code set it has the infinite TATE time gauge but not the TATE/SLASH gauge itself. this should explain it.

it probably wont be the same cheat engine so porting over from a different game to this won't be possible. edit your 1st post of what you're requesting i have both games and can load in pcsx2dis or pcsx2 1.4.

                  **EDIT**
                  where is this gauge at?

                    http://gamesdbase.com/Media/SYSTEM/S...002_-_Sega.pdf

check the manual out here at this link, go down to where it says screen explanation and then you will see under that at number 2 slash gauge which is the also the tate gauge. Yin btw are the little red balls you collect from enemies. What i want is a code that makes this gauge never go down.

I actually found this code below that might do it. from here http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Shinobi-cheats

Why need this code if all does it stop your health from decrease when you already have infinite health.
