  • [SNES] Strike Gunner S.T.G

Found these a long time ago with SNES9x code search tool. I believe they are only for Player 1. I have not tested or searched for Player 2 versions.

    Regular guns modifier
(09 - Maximum Upgrade - Might have reduced damage
13 - Fireball Gun - hit entire screen except some bosses
15 - Red Fuzzball Gun - hit entire screen except some bosses
19 - Mega Doom Guns - invisible, hit entire screen, one-shot most enemies and bosses)
    7E023C??

    Set active special weapon to:
    (01 - No Weapon
    02 - Homing Missiles
    03 - Atomic Missile
    04 - Laser Cannon
    05 - Megabeam Cannon
    06 - Anti-Air Mines
    07 - Sonic Wave
    08 - Sonic Shooter
    09 - Spray Missile
    0A - Photon Torpedo
    0B - Comrade Fighter
    0C - Adhesive Bomb
    0D - Heavy Vulcan
    0E - Heat Arrow
    0F - Auto-Aim Vulcan)
    7E023D??

    Move Super Fast
    7E023B03

For the secondary weapon setting, I couldn't find the value for the Plasma Shield. Maybe it's under another address. Enjoy!

If you are going to keep making codes, it's best if you make one thread titled "Geek SHO's SNES codes" or something, over at the Hackers sub forum. That's where everyone has their threads. It's best to keep this sub forum to post requests.

If you are not going to post more codes, then disregard.

I think that's all of my old codes that weren't already on the database. If I do make more, I will start a thread over there.

Is there a way to get them added to the database? I can only add them under my name, not under anyone else's.

As for the Plasma Shield, I already found the address. It's already been posted to the database a while back.

Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

I'll take care of that tonight so his codes can be added.

Edit: Done and he can add his own codes too.

I can add them now, thanks Helder.

I don't think that's on the same address as what I mean. The code you made sounds like it alters how long Plasma Shields last, so it's probably a different variable. The secondary weapons codes I listed change your active secondary weapon to whatever you want. In an emulator, you can pause and change weapons mid-level. I guess on a console you would just be stuck with the same secondary weapon through the whole game. Atomic Missiles for the whole game would make it really really easy.

I've added them under "Player 1 codes". Please let me know if I did it correctly or not. Here's a link for quick reference:
