TWINE (N64) and moonjump

I have the game in Project 64 2.0 and I entered moonjump codes (Gameshark codes). The problem is when i press C-Up or B (there is a code for that) dosen't work. In subterranea level (a beta level) there is a code built-in and that's the same thing. How is possible that kinda thing don't work despite I entered those codes correctly.

I think N64 emus have issues with codes that require pressing/holding buttons.
