  • Request: Street Fighter EX2 Plus (PSX)

This game has a mode called Expert Mode, where you complete missions per character. Things like throw a hadoken, use a special, etc.
Later missions become really complicated and I would be interested if someone could find the address that automatically completes the mission (while playing) when you turn on the cheat. There has to be something that tells the game I already did what they requested, and it should move to the next mission.

On the database there's already a cheat to have all the Expert missions completed (without playing them), but that doesn't unlock this mode's ending because you have to complete the missions in sequence, which is why the one I requested would be ideal. That way you can easily go through each mission yourself.

Also, just in case, I tried using the cheat in the database and modifying its values to have certain missions and characters incomplete, to see if completing them myself would unlock the ending, but alas, it didn't work. I guess the game keeps track internally if the missions were completed in order (and on time) or not.

You can find the Expert mode by entering the Practice menu, then Trial mode.

Raven 187? On the database that code is credited to slab, UL1, HackMan. But it doesn't work anyways.

I found addresses to have Ryu's missions complete, and from there I found the rest of the addresses. But like I said, that code is to have the missions already completed (without playing them), but it doesn't unlock the ending or the other modes that come after it because you actually have to play the missions. The code that would really be helpful is one that automatically completes the mission successfully. You enter the mission, do nothing, or hit the character, and the game thinks you fulfilled the task. That way you complete the tasks in sequence and on time.

Ok let me try to explain again. Those codes mark the missions as completed, but that does nothing because you can't get to the ending, and you don't unlock the extra modes you get for completing that mode. You have to physically complete the last mission, in order and on time for the game to give you the ending and extra modes.

The only code that would do something is a code that once you are inside playing the mission, it will automatically complete it and move you to the next one.

The game keeps track of the order of the missions you complete. If you complete a mission out of order, it doesn't count. You have to start from mission 1 and go all the way through the end. And not only that, you have to do it under a certain time too.

As for Raven-187's codes. God damn it. I spent all that time searching for that code and it was already done.

              I tried it, it didn't.

Again, you have to physically finish the last mission for the game to trigger the scenes I'm talking about. The codes on the database tell the game the missions are completed, so even if you re-complete the missions again, the game will not take that into account.

On the first game, the same type of codes worked fine. I enabled the codes, except for one mission. I completed that mission, and I got the ending.
But on this game that doesn't work because you have to complete the missions in order and on time.

                  Maybe this will help.

                  Code:

Hehe, what would us cheaters do without nolberto? The code worked like a charm, thanks!

Could you add something to that code though? After the Expert mode, there's a Maniac Mode. It works exactly like the Expert Mode, but there's only one mission per character though.

In that mode, the code you made also completes the mission, but the game stays stuck there and doesn't go back to the mission select menu. Could you take a look at that mode too and see what can be done?

This is the code to unlock Master Mode:
                    301EEB20 0001

                    Or this to unlock everything:
                    801F4F0E FFFF
                    801F4F10 FFFF
                    801F4F14 FFFF
