  • [Request] [GCN] Donkey Konga 2 conversions

    Hello,

I'd like to convert the 999 Great and Good/0 Bad and Miss NTSC codes for Donkey Konga 2 to PAL.
I tried on my own but I wasn't able to convert it. I tried to calculate the offset of the Max Money codes
which both versions have (which was 0xF110DC), and tried to apply it to the other codes, but this didn't work.
Do you need RAM dumps for this?

    Thank you for your help!

Ram dumps are needed yes to facilitate the conversion. I'm not going to do the conversion but someone else might and having these available is helpful.

Okay, I made RAM dumps with Dolphin now. I uploaded them to my Dropbox. I hope that's okay.

      PAL: https://www.dropbox.com/s/coq3hrwqcr....bin?dl=0&s=sl

I really hope someone can help me with this. I'd like to do it on my own but I never fully understood how to code.

      Thank you!

I made the RAM dumps with Dolphin when I was at the main menu of Donkey Konga 2. All codes were deactivated.

I'm sorry but these codes don't work. The Greats and misses are calculated as usual.

dump at main menu is like taking photo of front cover of book.

its best to make dump in gameplay without codes at same spot.
                (gameplay = inside the book)

Shall I dump them when the Results screen is shown?

Start stage and pause the game then take a dump.

Yes, I started a song, pressed pause, and dumped the RAM. Does it have to be the same song?
Maybe I dumped the wrong lines? I did it just how I learned it in a Youtube video by Bully@WiiPlaza.

I dumped it again, to be sure. I did it with the song "Trouble" because it appears in both games:

I'm sorry to bump this but I guess I finally found out how to dump the RAM correctly. I used to use XhD for this
but apparently, thid only works for Wii games. Now I made RAM dumps with the debug mode of Dolphin, maybe it works now.
This time it's four files because there seem to be two RAMs each.
