i tried the code on the pal version rom of the game

and it still does not work

Where exactly did you enter that on the pSxfin emulator? I don't see any option to enter cheats.

i used the cep program to enter my cheats in to use on the psxfin emulator

Upload a memory card save that I could load on the Bizhawk emu. Let me try the codes on this emu.

The save should have the .mcr extension, and the save should be somewhere I can test the code.

Then I guess you're using save states then and haven't saved your progress like you would on a real console.

Then use standalone codes to upgrade the characters one by one.

Yeah doesn't work.

Just use the mega stats on level up code then, once you level up, you'll have good stats. Or just use an experience code to rapidly gain levels.

and it still does not work on the pal version of suikoden 1 either

so can someone hack me a max stats code for all party members for this game please
