Gens hacking Woe's

I noticed there's a version of gens out that can do cpu tracing...thats fine and good...whats bothing me is that it lacks a cheat finder as well..in which I seen other versions of gens including this one: http://babel.altavista.com/babelfish...lz.cgi%3fn%3d1
which has a cheat finder(the link I posted has the best one btw..because it has a cheat finder simular to snes9x's)....it drives me nuts that you have to switch back and forth just to hack codes for a game...I would like to see the tracer version with a cheat finder like from the link above(which is open sourse)....then we would have a nice genesis hacking tool on our hands...maybe ugetab could do something about this?

You're over-rating my ability as a programmer. I may be able to do it, but I'd have to have a severely interesting goal for doing so, and no alternative to making it work myself.

I can handle using existing PAR codes or making them off of the save-states of the debugger version, so I'm not in any hurry to learn a high level language at crash-dummy speeds.

HazeMD is command line..and I don't like command line...plus I tried to get a game to work...but it keeps telling me it can't find the rom...(its sonic 3 and knuckles btw)

Pugsy mentioned something about the rom having to be renamed with Goodgens or something. MAME only plays roms if they have a certain amount of characters in the title.
